Update - Week #18

It's been a long time coming, but we've finally updated our website! There's no extra content on the website yet, but feel free to check it out :).

SPONSORED BUILD  --------------------------------------------

We've been reaching out to potential sponsors to see if they'd be interested in sponsoring the latest release. Unfortunately, it seems to be much harder to contact anyone during the holiday period, so we're thinking of hosting the public build (with the sponsored content unlocked) on our website.

We're hoping to have everything set up by the 8th of January, but we are waiting on some potential advertisers. If you do decide to play the public release, please consider supporting us by playing it on our website (we'll release a link when it's ready) ♥.

PAYMENTS  ------------------------------------------------------

We've recently noticed a number of websites sharing our Premium content for free through the use of bots with fraudulent payment details. Due to this, we're looking into ways of preventing this from happening.

The first step we'll be taking is to apply for Patreon's pay upfront system. This system is currently in beta and requires the Creator to have monthly payments (instead of our current per game payment), so we've decided to start the transition over to monthly payments this month instead of February (was mentioned in Update - Week #17). This change won't affect how much you pay in anyway and you will still be charged on the 1st of every month as usual. We're hoping with this change, bots with fraudulent payment details won't get access to our content. The transition will happen on the 10th of January PST (roughly 4 days from now).

If we're not able to use the pay upfront system, we're thinking of removing all builds attached to our current posts and start emailing future builds manually to Patrons after payments have been processed. This method will be annoying for everyone involved, so we'd like to avoid it if possible.
