Hey guys, happy 2026. I hope you all had a great New Year!
It's been a while since my last dev log, and while I did take a decent break over Christmas, work on the update has been progressing nicely. At the time of the last dev log I was just at the point of editing the script. Well I'm happy to report that it is now fully complete and, as predicted, it is the longest ever update by a good 10-20%.

Hey guys, it's time for the final dev log of 2025, though it'll only be a short one!
The last couple of weeks have been productive as ever. I've finally finished the writing for 0.14 - it's taken me a little longer than usual for a few reasons, but I'm very happy with it! It's the longest update by a pretty wide margin, currently sitting at around 40,000 words (for context, the last couple of updates have been just over 30k, and the ones before that were even shorter ).

Hey guys, time for a super short dev log!
I don't have much to report this time as I've mostly just been writing the next update since the last dev log. It's not quite done yet, though I am nearing the end now, so I should be onto the rendering by the next dev log.

I'm happy to announce that this will be the final dev log 0.13 cycle, as development for the update is now nearing completion. Hey guys, it's time for another dev log, and I have a bit more to say than in the last one!
First, I'm happy to report that I've had a very productive couple of weeks! Since the last dev log I've completed another 200 renders, bringing the current total up to roughly 1500 now. However, the lion's share of my time has been spent on animation.

As predicted in the previous one, rendering progress was a little slower over these last couple of weeks, with 160ish new renders completed. Much of my time was devoted instead to working on new maps, characters, and outfits, all of which take much longer than you might imagine to put together!

I'm not even sure it's worth calling this one a dev log, more just checking in, as the last couple of weeks have been spent working on renders with nothing particularly interesting going on. I've knocked out another 270ish, bringing the total completed for 0.13 so far to just over 900. I imagine that's slightly under halfway, though, as long-time followers might remember, I have a tendency to underestimate the final render count.

I've had a very productive couple of weeks, completing a further 400 renders, which brings the total so far up to around 2,000. Meaning this update has already smashed the old record of 1900, and there's a good 200ish yet to go!
