Update - Week #17

Happy New Year everyone!  ♥ 

Sorry for the delayed update post this week! It’s been quite a crazy end to 2017 for us. As most of you are probably aware, we released Quickie: Christmas Special yesterday. There might be some tweaks and polishing before the public release, but overall we’re pretty proud with how this one came out and really hope you all enjoy it :)

MAC RELEASE -------------------------------------------------- 

If you had problems running the game on Mac, or had black screen issues, please re-download the original swf files as we replaced them with a possible fix (make sure you delete the old swf). Also, please make sure you've deleted your save (through the Option menu) before playing the game. We're very sorry for any inconvenience! A huge thank you to everyone who spent time helping me with the fix (especially Triscuits and TheDarkness)  ♥.

FULL-TIME! -----------------------------------------------------

We managed to reach our full-time goal this week!! As it's the start of the month, it's dropped below the goal, but that tends to rise back up a week or two into the month. That being said, we're happy to still go ahead with going full-time. Thank you all very much for the amazing support and making 2017 a very memorable year for us. You make these late nights well worth it ♥.

Now that we’ve reached the goal, there’s a few things I should to mention:

• We’ll be handing in our month’s resignation notice to our current jobs later this week (yay!!). Because of this, we won’t officially start working on Oppai Games full-time until the second week of Feb. Things will continue as they have been until then.
• We’ll be using a bit of time in Feb to document/prototype our idea for the bigger dating-sim game (this won’t affect February’s Quickie). We feel it’s important to make sure you have a rough idea on what we have in mind for the bigger dating-sim game before you vote on the full-time poll, so voting won’t start until this document/prototype is released.
• After talking to our Patrons in Discord, we’ve decided to change our 3rd option in the full-time poll. Option 3 will now be: We’ll continue working on Quickies, introducing a few more characters with roughly the same amount of content each month. But, we’ll also be working on the bigger dating-sim game on the side to get it to an alpha/playable state.
• We’ll be transitioning to monthly payments starting February. Essentially, nothing should change (eg. the amount you pay per month won’t change), but it’ll be easier for us to manage ourselves when we’re guaranteed payment at the end of each month. Please let me know if anyone has any concerns with this change.
