Looking for purpose—and an escape from the monotony of lockdown—Marissa recruited three women she knew, not close friends but each with a useful skill set. Together, they began digging into the Watkins’ business and family history and quickly uncovered secrets the police had never connected.
What started as a distraction soon pulled them into unexpected challenges and moments of real danger, revealing just how complicated—and risky—the truth could be.

I’m sometimes a bit behind so I’m not sure when you recorded this one, but Rich was so close to the score of the most recent Lions game! 👏 We recently visited our daughter in LA and saw a lake with Swan Boats! When I listened to this episode, I immediately had to pull up a map and was kind of disappointed it wasn’t the exact same location 😅 Hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving with family and if Rich could predict another Lions win that would be great too! 😄

2025-11-23 03:39:17 +0000 UTCCorrection. There is a cold case called the Springfield three that is near The Ozarks or in the Ozarks area. It’s is a huge mystery of three missing women. I believe it was a mother and a daughter and a friend who went completely missing and I’ve never solved it. It was one of the first crime podcasts I listen to, and it was fascinating and sad that these women have never been found.
