So I wanted to post an update before I get overwhelmed with my schedule again. I thought to put aside religiously updating Patreon if ya'll don't rely on reading it so much. I had to take a break from streaming too since it's too much working 2 separate intense jobs, weight lifting, singing, having a life with friends & partners.

My journey includes tattoos I don't want to d...

Congrats to Aesthetic Capybara for winning the last art auction. All Patreon & Twitch subs go to tickets you can bid on this auction. Sub to join!
This artwork was finished in April of 2024. It's entirely subconscious, in that an image came to me and I let it flow out. What does it mean to you? All interpretations welcome.
I'm also trying mediums I used to work with. Very long ago, I used to mostly draw with pastels and do heavy blending over several layers to create s...

New artwork! This is an illustration project I took on to expand my character art portfolio. I would really like to be illustrating book covers or MTG cards. I hope you see how title & author credits could fit at the top or bottom of this illustration.

I am persuing tattooing as a side career. I discovered this is something that makes sense and is a natural trajectory in my work. Why?
🦇 the surreal, horror, monster stuff is generally the kind of art people are getting tattooed now
🦇 this means any monsters I create can also become tattoos, it's a feedback loop
🦇 all my work has an element of spirituality and aesthetic, and tattoos are a mix of both. People usually get tattoos because they're either cool or because...

Just wanted to share a quick update that I got new stickers coming! These are the mockups and I'm really crossing my fingers. I printed these as pixie dust, which is like glitter but much finer. This will complete the mushroom madams for now. If I have extra funds, I might add 1 more design I think would make a nice sticker.
I generally make my stickers in batches of 50-100 because that's what I can afford.
I'm happy to say my sticker shop is selling a sticker every so often...

So here are a few more drawings from the session. I got a lot of drawings out of this one. Sometimes I don't, sometimes they're so wonky or incomplete it's not even worth scanning.
There's nothing wrong with some of these, they're just kinda...as punchy as some of the more successful ones or have faults.
A few more gestures:

Okay, this is one of my final 20 minute poses.....

I saved these for a Valentine's Day appropriate post! I went to Dr. Sketchy a few times now and I have been enjoying it. This time, I went alone and got treated with this fetish model night. Artistically, I love drawing latex because of how form-fitting & shiny it is. I just love painting reflective surfaces for the challenge.
I'm using these more erotic drawings to supplement my alt. account, which continues to be a battle in my mind. I am considering adding all the erotic ar...

I'm pretty excited to post this artwork. I feel it's one of my best animal paintings so far, and it had quite a journey to get here. The idea comes from some stories I read or heard as a child based around magpies stealing shiny objects. They were this whimsical, where the birds in the story stole epic treasures and had huge collections in their nests. This idea always stuck with me.
🐦High-res image for you, DL it to view it better.

Another one of my goals when starting a Patreon was going to more figure drawing. Whether it's once a year or once a month, any amount is better & the cost of doing that has been prohibited. I made a collection of options for workshops around the city. By far, Dr. Sketchy is the most fun because the models are costumed, themed, and switch costumes and undress so there is a lot to draw. These cost me between $12-20 a session, plus transportation & any snacks since the session itself is...

So, I thought getting into linocut & block printing would be easy since I've done it before... I am so wrong.
Probably my fav. of the watercolor ones.
My first rubber block with the magpie did not work out. I streamed working on this. Unfortunately with fatigue, I got a bit anxious and started carving too deep into the block. I think most people I'm showing it don't ge...

This summer, I experimented with new skills. I want to expand my usefulness in animation and expand the way I can make art.
The stickers were a starting point last year. I am now considering making block prints, which are fun because I get to carve and I can print in gradients, metallics and mixed colors on plain or unique papers, meanwhile making limited prints so they are more special and ephemeral than the replications of my watercolors. I always loved the texture of ink presse...

The mix of symbolism for this design is an Ibex/goat (typically an allusion to Satan) & the mudra used to ward off evil eye given by the goat.

Hello everyone, I'm back from my trip and with a finished Yupo painting for you, as always the large version file. I have more paintings to post, however they'd midway through getting scanned and cleaned up.
This painting is based on a photo I took while I was in Chicago last year to do a talk about animation with Umami. We mostly got stuck in the burbs, then had 1 day to do the art museum and walk around as much as possible. I was most struck by the elevated train system, aside from th...

Year: 2015

This is a fairly significant painting for me. It marks moving to the big city & staying here. It's one of the first cityscapes I painted in watercolor. I was very meticulous about getting the buidlings accurate & straight. Som...

I'm going to be taking a break from streaming due to some work & family travel next month. I have 2 paintings to show, including this one :)
I wanted to do something quick and experimental. I had some of this wood board prepped from previous years. It's wood, painted with black acrylic, then topped with watercolor ground - a gesso/paper mix that lets me paint with watercolor on any surface. 6"x8", pretty small so limited detail possible.

Hi everyone, if you've been dropping into the infrequent art stream lately - I've been plucking away at a series of squirrels for the winter. Since I'm not a big drinker and NYE in Montreal is usual a -20C night, I don't go out for it. The past couple years, I started a new tradition with myself: Taking a macrodose of shrooms for the evening and drawing. Last time I tried this, I got some interesting results, but this time I wanted to really push myself to draw something cohesive and complete.
Procreate has the really cool automated timelapse feature so it was my weapon of choice. I made a new sketch every 40-60 minutes since...

This is a diff. discount code from your patreon code, so you won't use that up don't worry.
If you decide to get some, I would really love some reviews. Etsy is algorithmic like all these platforms, and reviews are super important overall for making me look legit.

I'm very excited to launch this. When I started this Patreon, I was talking about making cool stickers eventually. Well we got the cool reward stickers, and now I'm launching my monster stickers!! This new shop will be where I funnel dark art into since my other shop is flooded & clearly became focused on cityscapes. I appreciate any shares, thank you in advance 🖤:
Hi everyone,
So to roll this out, I am adding these stickers as a reward for all tiers Drake & up. I also have some other die-cut stickers I will send to current long-term patrons next time I have the opportunity to mail you something~!
If you're not sure what this is: It's our original Twitch chat emote back from 2017 🌻
Some of you have been hanging out with me online for like 5 whole years! Some of you longer in person.
Any NY resolutions?

OMG, I have been trying to post this for so long!! First I had to wait for it to dry to digitize it, then I had problems with the varnish layer. I needed to sand it down, and I needed 1 good daylight day to do that, which is a hard ask around the Winter Solstice up north. I guess I could have just posted some photos, but I rather show you the screen-ready & print-ready version of the painting. H...

Pick the Artwork for Next Auction
Congrats to the winner of the 1st art auction! I am so pleased to have everyone here and for this to happen because I really did think it would take months or all year to accumulate enough critical mass. Before, we only had the auction once a year since Twitch/Amazon keeps so much of the sub earnings for itself.

I was just going to start painting in the first colors that came into my head. Since they're not super clear and I'm not super excited about them, I did some color tests in Photoshop with the photo of the painting in its current state. Five is the most alike to what I originally thought, but now 2 & 1 are starting to speak to me, especially with the blending between the two. I didn't want to spe...

One of the things Montreal started doing for the pandemic was closing streets off to traffic and making them pedestrian shopping & dining zones. Plenty of main streets in different neighbourhoods did this. It meant restaurants could put their terrasses right into the street, shops could install outdoor shopping, and events happened right there.
I was out taking photos at night. This particular bar is mainly outside like this because it serves beach-themed drinks. I really loved how ...

August, we just finished Otakuthon, we just returned from Buffer Fest in Toronto. Later, we are going to the Ottawa International Animation Fest.
Like with everyone else, it's been years since I've done any kind of event...
