Learning to Drive in American Truck Simulator
Added 2025-08-24 03:50:43 +0000 UTCThe title is a bit inaccurate, but not by much! Another podcast-y type road trip, but this time I'm using a wheel and pedals for the full experience. I'm working on finally getting a license, and I wanted to get a feel for it physically. In this case it's mainly about coordination, but as a bonus, the game is about 10x more fun this way.

haven't watched the whole video yet, so perhaps you figure it out, but you should NOT be able to reverse with the brake. go into the games settings and change the gearbox from 'simple automatic' to 'real automatic' that way you're shifting between reverse, park, and drive, insteas of the pedals working for you.
