Behold, the start of the next Pacdude Game: Supermarket Sweep for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color! This is an extremely early alpha of the project so far—I'm hoping the engine can handle what I'm planning lmao

The supermarket layout is relatively faithful to the show's 2000 era, but the products and their values are modern-day. The first phase is just completing the supermarket (Right now, I have 3 aisles of 14 drawn, plotted out, stocked, completed and coded), and then from there it'll be creating the International Bread Center mini-game, the Coffee Grinder mini game, the Deli mini-game, the Frozen Yogurt mini-game and probably some other stuff.

This is a solely one-player affair, so at the start of the Sweep, you'll be given a win condition: some games might require you to grab x or more items, or hit a specific dollar amount, or complete David's Grocery List, in order to be eligible to win. I want this to be a full-fledged game, with a full front game, sweep round, and big sweep.

From there, I'm going to figure out the front game—GB Studio isn't really built for trivia games but I think I can make it work. It'll _feel_ like Supermarket Sweep, even if it's not exact.

The absolutely amazing chip tune music comes from MelonadeM, my frequent collaborator with my GB Studio games. This music SLAPS.
