New hardware [Goal]

I am planning on upgrading my PC in the coming months.
Ideally, I'd like to buy a RTX 3090 and some high end CPU to help with future projects.
Obviously those cost a crap ton of money (at least 2500$)
So I plan to spare some of the Patreon Funds to help me with this goal.
Right now I have an RTX 2070. it is still pretty decent
But my CPU is a I5 8600K which isn't ideal atm.
I'm not quite sure which CPU to get, so if you have any suggestion, please let me know 👍

the jump that intel series 12 has over series 11 is huge! but this jump also means you need a motherboard that supports the series 12... and with a new series 12 motherboard... you are nerfing yourself if you don't go for DDR5...

2021-11-16 01:09:18 +0000 UTCWell GPUs can be hard to find but if I were you I'd go AMD for the CPU. But its worth it to wait till their new release which should be happening soon. I have a R7-5800x and I love it but yeah wait till the new stuff. And if there is basically (Basing this off previous naming schemes) a R9-6900x or 6950x get that
