Added 2022-12-13 21:05:47 +0000 UTCIt took me forever to notice I was on art-pirate-bay. I'm not mad about my art being there. Actually, I'm partially confused as to why.
If you aren't aware, I post everything I make for free anyway after a day or two. Save for progress sketches and outdated variants I have finished/improved on.
I've never been much of a "paywall all the things" kind of artist. My philosophy is more one of support comes my way from people who think I deserve it.
I am terrible at capitalism.
Gotta say though, I was (either selfish enough or in lack of self esteem enough, maybe both) flattered that not only had somebody bothered stealing my art, but I apparently have thrilled over 300 pirates enough to favorite my tag over there.
Means I draw things worth seeing I 'spose.
For the record I won't directly condemn the place. I go there sometimes too for reasons.
Also would like to say thank you to the folks who know they can get all my crap for free and still throw money at me anyhow. Keeps me from sleeping under a bridge, after all. Also places some value on me in ways I am still not entirely sure how to process. haha
Brain dump over. Art soon and such. Head cold finally cleared up, btw!

The way I see it: just because I haven't paid somebody to see something interesting doesn't necessarily mean I don't owe them something for their effort. (This philosophy can get a bit nebulous - obviously I can't send cash to everyone whose work flips across my screen...)
