I won't buy it as it requires the Substance Automation Toolkits which only comes with the subscription plans. I do not spend enough time working in their software to justify spending money on a subscription plan right now.

I've been browsing around the blender market and this addons seems very useful.
I already have Substance Designer and Painter, this will allow me to make or even port a massive amount of Materials right into blender in a fast and simple manner.

Not sure if it would work in your workflow but I have been playing around with https://armorpaint.org/ Its free and super powerful and built off of blender... you can even import blend files directly into it...

2021-04-23 05:58:46 +0000 UTCI've looked it up and contacted the folks behind Substance and yes Unfortunately it requires the toolkit and it only comes with a subscription plan. I won't buy the plugin as I rather avoid subscription It's unfortunate because it could have been super useful.

2021-04-22 04:09:30 +0000 UTCDo you have the license for the Substance Automation Toolkit too? I think this plugin uses it to read sbsar files... hate for you to then have to pay extra for the toolkit... it might be part of your substance subscription....
