v06.0.0 fix!

If you downloaded and have been playing the Patron/supporter v06.0.0 version of MetalMercs, the next time you try to start the game you may get a message saying the game is out of date. This issue has been fixed and if you re-download the Windows or Linux version (links below) that message will go away.
Truth be told all versions of MetalMercs so far have had a date at which they stop working, as a very primitive attempt at version control (I didn't necessarily want old versions floating out there forever unchecked). However, as you know we are soon moving to Steam which is going to make it a LOT easier to more professionally keep up with version control in future.
Also, v06.0.0 was always meant to be a stop-gap build as v06.1.0 is on the horizon. I just didn't expect to still have not put it out yet (the Steam launch has taken more time than planned)!
Anywho, thanks for your continued patience. Re-downloading the Windows or Linux version and copying the files back over won't interfere with any of your ongoing save games or anything like that. If you are a Mac user and you get the error send me a message on discord and I'll tell you how to fix it. Onwards!
