2022-09-20 12:26:37 +0000 UTCyeah VPN is not enough. Steam checks location via IP, adress in the account and billing information + tons of cookies. They even might flat out refuse to sell you anything if VPN is detected ... I tried really hard but failed when Karryns Prison released

Back then I did a bit of googleing and read that even entering the key will not work. But I'm willing to test it

2022-09-20 12:23:18 +0000 UTCI asked my supervisor, he said that as long as you use the key to exchange the game directly, you will not be restricted by the region. I think we can experiment to see if it is feasible to use the key directly in the German region when it is officially released.
