Server Etiquette

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a minute here to write up a quick post to talk about server etiquette on our Minecraft servers. I'll try to keep this brief, but I'd like to stress the importance of respecting one another on both Minecraft servers (this applies to Discord as well).

When someone logs into one of our Minecraft servers, it is not okay to immediately travel to them to see what's up, mess with them, stalk them, chase them, etc. While some of you may find these behaviors "fun," not everyone else does. A lot of people like to log on to play Minecraft hoping they can chill out, relax, etc. and not be bothered by others. I ask that those of you who do these types of things stop immediately, and at the very least communicate and ask the other person if they're ok with you doing that. If they say no, or if they ask you to stop, then please stop. Don't continue to do this. Don't use invisibility potions to "hide." Please don't ruin the server experience for others.

I'd like to remind you all that this is a paid server, and while 1 person may want to pay for an experience where they can follow people around or whatever, the other person may be paying for an experience where they don't have to deal with something like that.

Please respect each other. Respect each other's privacy. Respect each other's requests to stop, etc. It's upsetting for me to hear that some people are hesitant to even log on to the servers, in fear of people immediately approaching them, following them, attacking them, etc. This goes for me as well when I log on. Privacy and respect are important which is why I wanted to create this post, and I feel periodic reminders like this are necessary in an attempt to re-correct any bad habits.
