2022-11-25 19:48:49 +0000 UTCI agree. I am making the second part of the Donbas video and it looks like that no one has been able to take the territory with a direct attack, so the only way is encirclement, which in this case is impossible.

2022-11-25 19:45:24 +0000 UTCIt feels like Ukraine may be in a difficult position because it can't (for diplomatic reasons) violate the territory of Russia, so it can't credibly force the Russians to retreat from the Donbas to avoid encirclement.
