As mentioned before, every page I post is open to discussion on what you guys would like next~ I have some ideas that people have given me already, but Iβm always open for more π€
ππ§‘AU factsπ§‘π
Despite how my AU has made it seem so far, characters actually eating each other is not super common. (As they still have normal sea life to eat) While definitely not unheard of, itβs not just expected among similar/same species. While in nature, sharks, fish, cephalopod etc will eat each other to compensate calories for the day, cannibalization is frowned upon in this world. And doing so is the quickest way to get black-listed and even targeted by your own species
This is due to the fact that, despite there being no law in this AU, they are all still sentient. Communities and groups will still form in order to make some form of safe spaces/homes
However, most species will not view eating another Mer of a different type of fish/sea life, as cannibalism. As the stronger species, mostly being all carnivores, need to compensate the lack of food in a highly populated area
And the stronger the Mer species in comparison, the less likely they are to hesitate eating a weaker Mer species. So cases like Katuski and Izuku are practically unheard of
If you were to categorize the Mer species from A-E (a being the strongest, E being the weakest), cephalopods rank above normal Bs, some variants being in A, and regular Mer like Izuku, E
So other Mer would sooner believe Katsuki is keeping Izuku as a pet and/or as future food before they could convince them theyβre mates
