Prey - Bonus Chapter (13)

I hope I didn’t make this one too dark lol my last one was too bright and it’s borderline impossible to figure out how bright/dark the image will be from my computer to here

Gonna just stray away from dialogue for a page or 2. I want to try to focus more on just ✨them✨

It’s been a bit of a struggle to make the poses dynamic when they don’t have legs 😅 so that’s part of the reason I want to give more attention to just the art aspect

💚🧡AU tidbits🧡💚

So this is something I actually plan to draw out in the normal comic, I have it all scripted out, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to squeeze it in to the main story

But Izuku and Katsuki are in fact childhood friends in this AU as well and the timeline they knew each other is also the same. However, due to there being no hero society and Katsuki being a natural predator in this one, he lived a more seclusive life with his family and did not have many other friends. So correspondingly, he didn’t have the same kind of inferiority complex or egotistical issues that he developed in the main story with Deku. As Deku was pretty much his only friend in this story

He still has his normal ego and cockiness, but it stems from him just being born stronger and having more abilities/talents than other species (very much like in the actual story still lol) But without the toxicity of others egging him on and an obsession to surpass all might/be better then deku, along with a society that forgave his bad habits, he didn’t go through his severe asshole phase like he did in the manga. Mind you he still act/ed better than everyone and picked on Izuku, but it was never to the same extent as in the original

This is also why he’s more comfortable with Izuku in my comic and didn’t immediately get mad/push him away for latching on and hugging him in part 4. While it was a bit a shock that halted his initial reaction as well, he’s more comfortable, used to touch and being around Izuku in general. So even before part 4, it was not the first time Izuku had hugged him
