I needed to re-upload page 9 as well because I realized I was missing Deku’s markings, and it was pissing me off lol

So time to add more facts about this AU 🧡💚 Katuski is actually a mixed species of Mer. This is why I refer to him as a “cephalopod” and not an “octopus”. I plan to elaborate on this a bit more in the normal storyline, and you’ll see evidence of it in this bonus chapter as well. So I don’t want to give away too many details of it

But the octopus part of Katsuki is based off of the blue-ringed octopus. The blue-ringed octopus produces a very deadly toxin containing tetrodotoxin and dopamine. Different glands produce different levels of potency, his fangs being the most deadly, and the one secreting from his skin (like a normal blue-ringed octopus would have), is the most mild. He can fluctuate how much of the toxin is emitted as will (this is based off how he can manipulate his own quirk from big vs tiny sparks)

As most know, Dopamine is known as the feel-good neurotransmitter. During times like this 🌶️, he will let out his toxins when he gets too excited. Deku has mild to moderate immunities to his poisons, due to overexposure. But he will still be affected by them in time.

Since Katuski can stimulate Dopamine with his poison, he likes to use it on Deku, A LOT. Since it’s also a natural paralytic, he can use it to force Izuku to calm down and be more relaxed. This just makes it all the harder for Izuku to resist him lol 💚
