Status update: Battle of France script is done, future plans
Added 2020-03-31 07:36:03 +0000 UTCThe time between the release of the Battle of France preview and yesterday has been spent on reading books on the topic and forming the script. Yesterday it got recorded and soon I can start working on retiming the animation:
I'll also share the plans about three of my next videos:
1) Battle of France with commentary.
2) I have made animated maps for the World War Two channel for more than a year and have produced loads of content. So I had the idea of compiling all the map clips from the first year of WWII into a single video and upload it on my channel.
3) The last video of the Commonwealth trilogy.
I plan to have all three videos done by mid May at the latest.
Comments
That is good input! Some other people have also noted that the video should have been split into regional chapers.

2020-05-25 16:08:34 +0000 UTCI just watched the video of the compiled clips from the WWII channel last night. I thought the editing was pretty jarring at times and it could have perhaps had more flow if it was broken into a couple of different videos (Winter War, Sino-Japanese Theatre, Western Front). I think this organization may have been a little more clear than a purely chronological one. Also the narrator got noticeably louder and more quiet a few times. But as a whole it was still interesting and worth watching as someone who hasn't seen that channel before!
