Alfie

Sitraka Forler

The Swedish Deluge, as requested by the Patrons.

Eastory

what wil be the subject of the next video?

João Vítor Guidi

Do you mean Soviet strategic bombing efforts?

Eastory

Yep, that is what I mean.

Eastory

Im really interested in WW2, as it was believed by some that it would decide the war. Im interested in what the significance of the campaign in both theatres had on the outcome. Also, the efforts of the Soviet bombing is not well known.

RocketWrench

By Deluge you mean this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deluge_(history) Right?

You know, I'm gonna say something strange, but I absolutely love the way you say "unable".

Please, add this great map

you use "grease pencil" or what?

I used Blender: https://www.blender.org/

What do make your videos with?

That is something I am interested in too, but l don't know if the circumstances can allow me to make it. Have you checked out The Cold War channel? It should be covering some of these topics: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCGvq-qmjFmmMD4e-PLQqGg/videos

Now that the war in the east is over. I'd love to see a video about the aftermath. Hardly anyone talks about the 5-10 years following WWII. But there are so many military and political topics that should get an Eastory treatment: * Evacuation of Prussia * Partition of Germany * Berlin airlift * Invasion of the Baltic States * Decolonization * Iron Curtain * Hungarian Revolution * Founding of UN and NATO

Next I am going to do the Deluge (according to a Patreon vote) and then about Western Front. What exactly do you mean by bombing campaigns? Like WW2 strategic campaign, Vietnam War campaign and Iraq Gulf War?

Eastory

Congratulations, fantastic videos. Impressive the amount of information summarized so brilliantly without losing detail. Great job!

Sergio Uribe

What a brilliant series, well done. What are you planning next? Could I suggest a series on the bombing campaigns?

RocketWrench

Thanks! Great stuff If I may suggest - 3:40 - Strategic considerations -> Hitler's no retreat order & making major cities into fortresses. 8:14 - The Bulgarians were actually already mobilized when they invaded Greece in 1941 with the Germans & occupied the northern part of it. I did not know however they send 2 armies to Hungary... You may also mention the Italian front - even though it was mostly static.

YW

The climactic end to one of the best and most educative series ever created about the eastern front during WW2. I remember searching for content like this before you made the series and being unable to find anything which explains the maneuvers in such detail and with a clear overview of the context in which they took place. Congratulations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSZy6lGgOcI

Excellent video, this series was probably the most detailed (and visually pretty) thing on WW2 that I’ve seen on YouTube. Looking forward to what you decide on doing next, cheers!
