When we first started coming to Zipolite, we didnโt get it.
Every night weโd watch the shirtless parade of men heading toward Playa del Amor just as the sun dipped below the horizon. And honestly? We thought the show was over.
Dinner time, right?
Wrong. ๐
Turns out, the real show starts after the dinner rush.
Letโs break it down: To reach Playa del Amor, you climb over the rocky trail behind Salmastro at the far east end of Playa Zipolite. Itโs easy enoughโeven in flip flopsโand once you crest the hill, youโre greeted by a clothing-optional cove full of cheeky swimmers, golden-hour nudes, and yesโฆ a bit of mischief in the air. ๐ด๐ฅ
During the day, itโs a chill, carefree beach with a mix of locals and gay tourists. But after sunset? The families clear out, the beers start flowing, and itโs usually 95-99% gay men left behind.
Ohโand then comes the fire show. It usually starts off pretty tameโthink Instagram-friendly twirls with speedos still on. But by the end? Letโs just say those flames arenโt the only things heating up. ๐ฅ๐
Once the crowd is properly warmed up, the entire beach shifts leftโpast the big rockโand turns into one massive free-for-all. Youโll see everything here. We mean everything. ๐
The best part? Thereโs zero pressure. You can get wild. You can just watch. You can skinny dip under the stars and disappear into the shadowsโฆ or make new friends and see where the night takes you. ๐
On peak nights like New Yearโs Eve, the Nudist Festival, or Zipolite Pride (Diverso), it can swell to 50, 100, even more. Bodies. Boys. Candles. Bliss.
Now we totally get why itโs called Playa del Amor.
And yesโwe captured some after-dark heat for this Patreon drop:
๐ฅ Skinny dips under the moonlight
๐ฅ Wild crowd shots we canโt post anywhere else
๐ฅ Steamy behind-the-scenes from the fire show
๐ฅ And usโฆ with absolutely zero clothes ๐
