So the narrative device, using images only, with the 3 sequences, creating a sort of mini-scene, is perfect ❤️ ! Now I'm always more attentive to the narrative dimension, because I've been here for 3 years already, and I know that you can make absolutely insane and incredibly stunning images, that's not the point any more. Because you've already shown that 🧡🔥 So now the point is, what can you tell with it ? What depth can you give them ? How can you add a dimension to them ? Like the narrative dimension. So I very much appreciate any initiatives that go in that direction ! I'm not going to describe the scene exactly, I don't think that's useful, but yeah, it's very well done 😊 There's also another detail I really like, and that's your acting. Or should I say, your over-acting, which is completely exaggerated, over-the-top, not at all subtle, sober and nuanced. And, you know how I love sober, subtle, Bresson-ish acting, so that might seem like a flaw, but it all depends on the universe and the work being adapted 🤓 And it seems to me that Squid Game, and this kind of series, don't rely at all on sobriety, subtlety or nuance, but make everything exaggerated, hyperbolic, over-the-top, almost caricatural, and that's also a fundamental part of the satire aspect of the serie. So it's not a flaw, it's an intention 💛✨ And here, that's exactly what you've adapted to, by completely exaggerating your acting, as in this kind of series. So it just shows how wide the range of your acting is 🏆 You know how to be subtle, sober and nuanced when it's necessary, as with 2B, and you know how to be completely exaggerated, as with here 🥰 So which acting do I prefer ? Obviously, I prefer the elegance and subtlety of a Bresson-ish acting style, as with 2B. But what I prefer is not the point. Here you've done what was suitable for the photoshoot and this universe, and it looks absolutely fitting ! So that's great ! Congratulations on this precision. Funny photoshoot, I'm waiting to see what happens next 🙂
