Re:timeline of Charlie's last conversation with her dad before he comes to the hotel, it's actually in the first episode when he calls to ask her to meet with Adam. We don't know how long it was prior to that, and we only catch some of Charlie's end of the call, but it wasn't a long talk so it makes sense Alastor wouldn't come up. And in his first commercial, Alastor said the hotel was "founded 5 days ago by Lucifer's delusional daughter!" So I think the timeline was that the pilot took place just after (and during) the extermination, which is when Alastor met Charlie and became involved in the hotel. That's the "day one" from the song. Three days later they have the hotel up and running enough to have a commercial airing. So it didn't take them 5 months to get the hotel ready, only 5 days (or if he was exaggerating for comical effect, still barely any time)! 5 months is how long it is between the first episode when Lucifer asks Charlie to attend the meeting with Adam and when she calls him in episode 5. Which makes sense - if you recall, Adam cut the timeline for the extermination in half, meaning that episode 1 and the season finale are 6 months apart to the day. So Lucifer and Charlie reconnect with 1 month left to the extermination. As far as who owns Alastor's soul, it's strongly hinted to be Lillith, though we won't know for sure until it's confirmed. Charlie last talked to her 7 years ago...Alastor just got back from a 7 year absence...I also think Lillith might have been on Adam's chain but my evidence for that is pretty flimsy, just Lute's mention of a deal and a suspicion that something suddenly changed in the Alastor/Adam fight. It could have been Adam making Lillith give him power or take power from Alastor or both (pure speculation on my part).

2025-10-10 06:42:25 +0000 UTCAs much as seeing gargantuan Alastor fighting Adam might’ve been cool, big enemies often lose agility, and we saw how quick Alastor needed to be to avoid Adam’s attacks, considering the first hit to really land immediately grounded his ass. Validly, as well, even Charlie couldn’t beat Adam, it took Lucifer, the Devil himself, to finally bring him down. Vox also is mentioned in season two to have ‘almost’ been beaten by Alastor seven years ago, before Alastor disappeared. So they’re on par with each other as powerful Overlords. Overall I REALLY enjoyed getting to rewatch this again with you! I’m so so excited to be going into season 2 knowing I’ll get to hear all your thoughts on the new episodes ❤️ three weeks to go!

2025-10-09 02:22:57 +0000 UTCI think that even though Alastor lost to Adam, he was still very impressive in the fight. For one thing, Adam is vastly older than Alastor—who died in 1933—and I’d find it questionable if a demon who isn’t even a hundred years old beat an angel with millions of years under his belt. Even so, Alastor managed to fend off angelic magic and survived a direct hit with angel steel—which, as far as I understood, should basically be an instant kill. All in all, that’s a strong showing, and I think the defeat will likely be important for his future character development. What I also find interesting about Episode 6—and something no one has ever really brought up—is this: how does Adam know that Angel Dust is a porn demon? He only knows Charlie from the hotel and now Vaggie; he didn’t know Alastor in the last episode. Does that mean they get Vox TV broadcasts in Heaven and Adam watches them—especially Angel’s porn? Is he a big fan? XD
