I believe it was confirmed that when the writers learned that Neil deGrasse Tyson would be voicing Waddles, try decided to make the most ABSURD things for him to say, so that they could see where the limit was. The "Yummy Yummy" line, was the craziest of the lines to get in. And I think that's hilarious
