Made even better by your reactions. Because yes he did just say that in fact. I do enjoy your reaction content and have been enjoying watching this and Gravity Falls with you. Can't wait for season 2 of Hazbin Hotel and more Hellava Boss.

2025-01-08 05:56:04 +0000 UTCYou wondered about Yenk vs. Vorugal tongue biting scene... you might've been thinking of S1E5 where on their way to Whitestone, the party recounted their best previous kills at a campfire discussion? Grog was shown fighting a bulette and killing it with a very similar move. (Which described an actual memorable event from earlier in the campaign!) At least for me it reminded of that. And yeah, the mansion is in its own pocket dimension so while treestriding out of there would be an awesome idea it wouldn't work as treestride only works in same dimension. If the mansion spell gets broken everyone just ejects out. It is for sure a very awesome spell and I really love how they've used it narratively in their games! It got some especially memorable uses later in Campaign 2 (Mighty Nein). Also, they did actually sometimes have guests in the campaign to play some additional characters! Perhaps most notably Zahra and Kashaw from the Slayer's Take that we saw in season 2 - who were also voiced by their actual guest players in the animated series. However Kima was not a guest player but an NPC controlled by Matt... and sometimes Matt did indeed end up making some very impressive moves with the NPCs that happened to be around the action, althtough he always felt quite sorry about it and tried to avoid it in order to not steal the spotlight from players. But sometimes you just have to follow where the narrative goes in D&D, that's half the fun! That said, the context for the Vorugal fight itself was quite adapted for the animated show though, although the fight between Yenk and Vorugal was indeed central in both. In the campaign they actually happened to have different allies there than Allura and Kima.

You and any creature you designate when you cast the spell can enter the extradimensional dwelling as long as the door remains open. You can open or close it (no action required) if you are within 30 feet of it. While closed, the door is imperceptible. Beyond the door is a magnificent foyer with numerous chambers beyond. The dwelling’s atmosphere is clean, fresh, and warm. You can create any floor plan you like for the dwelling, but it can’t exceed 50 contiguous 10-foot Cubes. The place is furnished and decorated as you choose. It contains sufficient food to serve a nine-course banquet for up to 100 people. Furnishings and other objects created by this spell dissipate into smoke if removed from it. A staff of 100 near-transparent servants attends all who enter. You determine the appearance of these servants and their attire. They are invulnerable and obey your commands. Each servant can perform tasks that a human could perform, but they can’t attack or take any action that would directly harm another creature. Thus the servants can fetch things, clean, mend, fold clothes, light fires, serve food, pour wine, and so on. The servants can’t leave the dwelling. When the spell ends, any creatures or objects left inside the extradimensional space are expelled into the unoccupied spaces nearest to the entrance. * - (a miniature door worth 15+ GP)

Last season the dragon intro was just so devastating to listen too
