Inns, Taverns, and a Glum, Dark Logo

Building new stuff with the lore generation engine which our NPC Generator was built on is pretty time consuming. So in the meantime, it's fun to crank out some smaller tables which patch up gaps in the fantasy world.

And what fantasy world isn't full of Inns and Taverns?

I personally like "Skid's Sandy Wizard"

So we built an Inn & Tavern name generator in our typical style.

This ships with a new feature which allows us to weight certain entries. So, half the time the Inn or Tavern will just start with "The"--which works much better. We can also have blank lines by just making an entry an ellipses. Small bits of code which went a long way.

Also, you may have noticed the new logo pop up on the top of the site, and on Patreon. This guy:

I've had it in mind since before we started building the site that Glumdark would have a mascot. A sort of supernatural cretin who would descend from black silk and whisper into the ear of a prisoner tales of far-off wonders and atrocities.

He doesn't have a name yet, but there he is. I want to do some mold-making so I'm probably going to finish up a 3D model of this guy and then make some resin prints of him. Also, logo stickers are arriving tomorrow!
