2024-11-22 10:53:29 +0000 UTCIn regards to things that get interacted with being lighter than things that are stagnant in animation. Typically the reason this is done is things that are stagnant you can shade and since they're not moving, the shading doesn't change, but if something is going to get interacted with by a character and get moved, typically they don't shade it that way it's easier to animate. This doesn't really apply in 3D animations like demon Slayer where the models have their own shading baked in.
