So he's more powerful than any of the overlords (think Vox or Alastor). He just doesn't show off about it because he's kind of modest like that. He's awesome. And, I promise, he's adorable.

2024-05-15 20:57:57 +0000 UTCStolas and the surname Goetia are based off of "The Lesser Key Of Solomon" which is suposedly all of the demons that Solomon used to help make the temple in Jerusalem. The book itself contains many entities that the catholic church later labels as demons although many were pagan gods beforehand. Like some of the rituals mentioned to summon one of these demons is stuff like.. "do not spend money for a day" or "leave your money on your bedside table" or "do not pray for a single day" Stolas in both the show and many illustrations have him depicted as a large owl with long legs and a crown, he is known in the lesser key of solomon to teach humans about astrology and various planets/space, which so far in two episodes of helluva boss, match up pretty well. Another detail is when we see stolas' palace in the pilot flash back and in this episode, Stolas' actual demonic sigil is seen on various things like: The banners, the walls and even his book used by I.M.P This has been your local satanist PSA
