Charlie knowing is great because the hotel didn't do shit but give snake boi a reason to succeed. if hell is other people then so is heaven and he reached heaven... which without them is a hell - and meanwhile Charlie is hitting all the wrong buttons because she doesn't know that yet which is both great and yeah kinda unfortunate. i do *like* your take that its more meaningful without confirmation but i think it'd take longer for Charlie to realize she's - like a lot of people - got some very bad assumptions about the inherent value of certain actions. a suicidal throwing himself on a grenade sounds noble but like... is it though? nuances get lost and i could easily see Charlie - because she kinda does later - just accidently trying to talk people into throwing themselves into a meat grinder because it will make them "better". okay but id be okay if shows you watched were intentionally trying to cater to you. just "hmm danny hates this person. good. now lets make him love them >:)" would infact pay extra to see that. I'm thinking itll balance out over the course of the show - but im looking forward to the end season songs because theyre clearly building them up for that.
