I was curious about the title but upon reading the ending it all makes sense. Glad to see that Shirou and Artoria were able to bury the hatchet and I am interested in seeing how their relationship develops moving forward. The aforementioned funeral certainly stole the show and it was good of you to leave it to the ending. Now let's see how the new legend starts.

Rias definitely fits the bill and I imagine the other one who would feel as strongly as Rias would be Akeno. Either way, thanks for the clarification!

The thing is all about risk and reward: as it stands now Shirou is mortal, a very powerful mortal but mortal. By Ascending to True Godhood he would not only become the Strongest by default he would also not die which is what Rias fears the most. Luvia shares the same feelings to a lesser extend, its all about him staying around. Hope this clarified some things.

2025-03-06 13:47:01 +0000 UTCPretty good and solid chapter. It's good to hear that your eye sight improved and I hope it gets better in the future! I think that setup about the chapters works out well. Updating the chapters once a month while also updating here in patreon earlier is I think a good move mainly so that you can build up not just a chapter difference but also to provide incentive for those who want to join. The chapter is pretty good and I do like it is the aftermath of the fight. Azazel and Baraqiel reacting to the events is pretty funny. Rias is understandably angry at Shirou and the others. It does make sense but also points out that despite the plan having some errors, it did work out in the end. It will be interesting if this tension will still be there between Rias, Shirou and Akeno. While Rias will eventually move on from it, it was probably still linger in her mind. This will make her bond and relationship stronger with Shirou as this does kinda resemble the situation between her lover and Setsuna. It will probably end with a better outcome as they both do love each other but I think it will still take time to forgive it. I do think this will also be a good motivator for her to grow stronger and Akeno as well as seen in the chapter. I'm just speculating that Rias would kinda get a growth in power and technique similar to Aoko Aozaki since both have very similar skill sets and domain. Rossweise is another good addition to the team. I feel like her knowledge on Asgard will be beneficial especially if or when Asgard will retaliate against them. She also has enough versatility in magic and defense that would benefit the team especially if she gets grouped up with Shirou and Xenovia. I also like how she was finally able to rant all the bad situations she had been put through thanks to Odin and I feel like her job as a Kuoh teacher will be an interesting one. I am wondering if she will be one of the members in Shirou's harem but might as well wait and see. I'm just excited to see how the rest of the peerage will also grow especially since this whole arc probably showed that while they did become strong, it's still not fully enough. I also like the talk of Shirou and the other Pendragon siblings. Le Fay showing her Morgan side and I am very interested to see what she will say about the Fuyuki Ritual. I love the talk between Shirou and Altria and them finally reconciling with each other. It is a good heartwarming part of the story as Altria finally accepted herself and the truth which will make her stronger and I feel like her and Shirou's bond will get better too. It will be interesting to see if Excalibur will appear. The ending is also a good send off and end to the arc. To some criticism, I'm a bit weirded out on how some of the characters are okay with Shirou going through Apotheosis. While some of them does make sense, it does feel kinda weird to me that Luvia and Rias are not fully against it. While I am don't know much about the Apotheosis other than the human and god combine to become a true one, won't it end with the person not being either one anymore? Like the person won't be Shirou anymore so... Either that or I just missed some other factors. Either way, a solid chapter and I'm excited to know the reactions from the Hero Faction on this matter especially Angelo and Illya. After all what transpired, the team definitely needs a break.

Updating once a month while slowly updating with any extra chapters here to build up your patreons chapter difference makes sense. Your managers boss sounds bad, hopefully you don’t have to deal with her much. I also hope you can get more patreon subscribers and can get paid more for the job you like doing. Now for the chapter, Azazel and Baraquiel getting caught up on events was funny due to how different and shocking what transpired was. Then came Rias’s harsh scolding to everyone especially to Shirou, which is completely understandable. Also Azazel entering and dropping the ‘can’t talk to my client without his lawyer’ line was hilarious and perfect for Azazel to say! Then there’s the detail of Shirous hair which has gone completely white now, which was bound to happen at some point but after this fight makes the most sense. The following discussion was expected, the fallout with Asgard is a serious thing to consider, but with the possibility of other gods coming to ‘interview’ with Shirou, I guess that staves that threat off for a bit. I wonder where you’ll take the whole apotheosis thing, I honestly never expected Shirou to go through with it in this story but given that conversation it felt like everyone was presenting it as the best move. Then there was also Altria coming to terms with being Artorias reincarnation. It was a good conversation and Artoria getting Add while Arthur got Clarent and Shirou keeps Avalon makes me wonder about Excalibur. You might not bring it into the story, but the thought of it just stuck in my head. Lastly, the Viking funeral, hopefully it’ll be enough to satisfy most of the Asgardians but I guess we’ll figure out that later! Good chapter overall and I look forward to the next one!

It's good that you didn't have everyone be ok with the conspiracy and that they were being mature for the most part (but still getting emotional). I liked how handled Rossweisse venting and coming to terms with what happened. Her both wanting a vacation, but asking for a job instead was funny. She and Shirou are now on a mini vacation/ movie marathon. I didn't expect Kiba to have as big of a reaction to Altria being King Arthur , as I thought Shirou brought it up before (he didn't, I just forgot that part). It is nice seeing him bond with the Pendragons and move forward towards being happy. Altria coming to terms with her past was sweet and her putting Shirou through a beating/spar is like a multiversity consistent. For your question on what to do with fanfiction.net. Just keep doing what you are doing. I wish you luck at work and trying to get more people on patron isn't a bad thing as long as you are honest and not just leading people on for more money. You are a great writer and I keep looking forward to what you write next.
