2025-05-22 02:07:54 +0000 UTCWow, I guess the emphasis on the eyes within the chapter is referring to your operation. I hope you get better. You must be much more careful with recovery. It's good to pause the rhythm because sometimes I'm sorry to say but the chapters became monotonous. Now, damn it, you exceed your expectations. This fight is incredible and is close to Vali's fight. That's a great achievement, I personally feel that what makes the fight with Vali unique is the fact that Shirou uses all his resources and the only support he had was Rias' mana. In this fight there are a thousand things on top and yet nothing eclipses Shirou's effort to seek victory as in the fights with Altria and JGD. To be honest, this would be the best fight if it weren't for the plot armor of the grail allowing you to skip the UBW song and the lack of chants when using the swords. It's understandable but using UBW has its emotion and reading the Aria while the theme of EMIYA sounds in your head is unsurpassed. I don't want to go into the unfairness that lends itself as a future plot armor since no one will be able to use their special powers but Shirou, but rather emphasize how special the song is. In my opinion it is the worst point and for the only thing that this fight does not surpass Vali's. However, it was incredible. Anyway, no one here considers that Odin's actions may well be out of fear. If the guy solved the Ragnarok and was hand in hand with Loki even banishing his children then what interest would he have in becoming a true god. Going back that Olga didn't say that everyone lost their clairvoyance? It's funny as I remember the Moon was Odin's eye in EDA. Now then is it or is it not Goetia that is inside Shirou? Juju. That was good, if it is practically Shirou gave the grail in the mouth to Aphrodite and Goetia and if it is not and they are only the souls that were left behind that means that Shirou is already clean so it can be a new chapter in his life. Returning to the grail, I really came to think that Archer or maybe Angra Manyu would appear. The grail was magically created to do evil but in my head it fit better than in the third war the Einzbern went to ask for help to win the war and ended up contaminating the grail so in the end when the time came for the three factions to face the Beatles it was revealed that Rizevim never managed to revive the true Lucifer and that Angra was playing with them all the time. That would have been a plot twist of epic proportions haha. Anyway, the chapter was amazing. Let's hope you get better soon.

2025-02-02 22:01:27 +0000 UTCAbsolutely understandable that you’re going back to monthly chapters, hell it’d make sense if you even wanted to take a couple months off to go easy while recovering. Any surgery is a serious thing and I hope that everything goes well for you! Now for the chapter! Shirou going against Fenrir and successfully freeing him was a good idea! Especially becuase he temporarily has enough mana to easily overload a link of the chains binding him. Next when Loki came out, I know you gave him a great description, but whenever I read about Loki, Thor, or Odin in any piece of writing from any verse, I can only mentally picture their Marvel movie appearances lol! The fight between Shirou and Loki started as expected, Shirou using Kanshou and Bakuya and attempting to mask his regeneration while Loki uses clones and spells. During this, the speed at which Shirou could regenerate his wings is insane and last stardust ensured that he could dodge most attacks. Lokis curse that stops weapons seems to limit Shirou a lot, but with his new level of mana I assume he could just use UBW and barrage Loki with a quantity of attacks that he cannot keep up with. Even if Loki can destroy a world, the fact remains that I doubt he could defend himself and destroy a world at the same time, plus with Shirou’s mana now using UBW wouldn’t even be a final spell, he could keep fighting in ascension outside of UBW after wounding Loki enough in UBW. Anyways Shirou tracing Clarent makes sense, it was only a matter of time until he took out a stronger NP, but with his current mana I was honestly expecting Caliburn. The line ‘becuase he could do it again’ went so hard and felt so satisfying as Shirou usually never has anywhere near this much mana! Man and then Shirou using mana burst in addition to Mordred brutal style of fighting! It made for a crazy scene! Afterwards, it was smart how Shirou logically figured out that his best bet was skill, and using Sasaki’s attack puts that to the test! And wow was it satisfying that it worked and Loki took a real hit! And when I thought it couldn’t get any crazier, the scale of the fight just gets taken up a few notches as Loki starts levitating the whole city and using it, that was amazing. The final attack of the city becoming a huge sword that allowed Shirou to trace it and have a massive clash mirrored the clash OuS Shirou had against Angelica with Ig Alima and just like then it was an awesome scene. Later in the fight when Loki took on a muscular form I was wondering what exactly it was, but when it was revealed to be an imitation of Thors body, then it clicked at why he suddenly got so much stronger. And feats like punching Caladbolg definitely make sense when you consider he’s using the body of the 4th strongest being in the verse. By the end of the fight when Shirou used UBW, it was revealed that this was all Odins plan and honestly I did not expect that, in hindsight it makes sense but I guess I thought better of Odin. Then Shirou forging Fuyuki Muramasa was a fitting way to bring peace to the specters while paying homage to how Muramasa created his final sword when in Shirou’s body. After Loki’s death, I’m glad that Shirou got to keep Avalon and then next came the face off with Odin. Honestly given Loki’s ability to copy Thors body, it feels like Loki’s gotta be top 3 strongest gods of Asgard, so I don’t expect Odin to be that much above him in strength. And given that Shirou was basically at full strength again, mana wise and physically, he could easily buy enough time for Vali to use JG against Odin. So in my eyes it was always a fight that Odin would lose, but there would be casualties on Shirou’s side, so Fenrir’s appearance was for the best. That was a long comment. But given that this chapter felt like the culmination of several built up events, I think its length makes sense. Anyways I hope you recover, enjoy writing, and have a nice day!

2025-01-30 22:08:53 +0000 UTCAn amazing chapter! Firstly, I hope your medical situation goes well and you get plenty of rest! I love this chapter especially the fight and the reveals that were shown. The fight was amazing and I love how both sides had to adapt to each other's strategies to gain the advantage and they provided good counters. I just love how you were able to write an epic fight and struggle between human and deity. I will probably get into spoilers here so spoiler warning just in case. I just love how it all started, especially how they were able to effectively trick Odin and continue with their plan to kill Loki. The fight was epic and I just loved how you were able to portray Loki’s cunning nature in this arc. It was so good and made him have a formidable presence for the arc. His versatility and magic made it a very interesting fight and I loved how you were able to adapt his legends into spells for him to use to tip the scale in his favor. Fenrir was another stand out as in this whole arc. You were able to portray how strong he was and show he deserves the spot as one of the strongest. Odin was another stand-out especially how his pettiness was revealed for all to see at the end. His overconfidence made sense for his plan but I also loved how it eventually showed his anger when it didn’t turn well. It will be interesting to see how he will be further as an antagonist to the cast, especially to Shirou given what he knows minus the Grail. There will be repercussions for this event, especially the alliance and potential knowledge leak about Shirou having a RM and killing Loki. The former I doubt will happen not just because of what Shirou did but also to what Odin did if and when Azazel hears about what Odin planned. Huh, it also makes me wonder if Odin knows about Shirou’s Fuyuki Muramasa. My favorite part has to be when Shirou used Fuyuki Muramasa. I was so excited when that showed up, especially in the last chapter, when Shirou hinted to Rossweisse that he was gonna use Muramasa to forge the deadliest sword. I knew at that moment and have been waiting for Shirou to use it and it was so cool. I just loved the setup from Shirou accepting the specters to help them move on, and to use their emotions to create the deadliest blade of them all. Just the description of UBW helping to create it with all of the swords combining into a fiery red blade was so cool. The Muramasa Emiya theme just kept playing in my head when Shirou was using it against Loki and killing him with it. I have no doubt Shirou would probably have to explain it to the others. It is very cool and another card he can play but definitely a last resort especially since it almost killed him and possibly burnt his right arm (?). The first side effect would make sense given it is similar to Tsumukari Muramasa while the second when his arm was burnt was also another one or if it was just a result of him clashing with Loki’s spell. Either way, this is one of my favorite scenes so far across the story. I also love the bond that the Gremory Peerage and Vali’s Group is having. There is still some tension but like the last chapter, I just love that they are just vibing with each other and slowly becoming friends. This whole arc is very good and sets up another antagonist but also sets up allies for the main group. While I doubt that it will be a quick alliance, both groups are getting comfortable with each other and that could lead to them having an eventual alliance that they do need. I also liked that the emotional ties are also being paid off in this arc, especially in Akeno’s case with her bond with her father. Another one would be the reveal of Avalon. This is a big reveal to the group, especially Altria. All the speculation they had on the healing can now be answered as it was from Avalon. While I am interested to see how the repercussions of Shirou removing Avalon to use Fuyuki Muramasa will go, I am more interested to see how his and Altria’s bond will continue. I think this one event can make Altria probably at least understand Shirou’s side when they fought for Caliburn. I mean her feeling on becoming stronger when Avalon went back to her should probably make her realize that Shirou’s words were true in that she is the reincarnation of King Arthur. This will at least probably help Altria see more reason and talk with Shirou a bit more positively. After all, both sides saw the point of the other’s ideals but at least they can come to an understanding now with the reveal. Overall, I love this chapter and I’m excited for the next one. I’m also excited to see what will happen to Rossweisse and I think she might become part of Shirou’s team or Medusa’s Temple like Akeno.

2025-01-28 17:39:03 +0000 UTCIt's a good thing I delayed reading 94 until this chapter. This arc was just amazing! I wonder if there'll be any other negative consequences besides the obvious, such as Shirou being considered a god slayer, being caught with Vali, severing their possible alliance with the Norse. I wonder which arc will be next, will the greeks make their move? I think that would that would be needed to settle Rin's arc and for Medusa to be complete and later on ascend to the throne of heaven but then again that plot might be near the end of this fic since, or at least Medusa ascending heaven. Anyways cheers and good luck on your surgery, can't wait for the next update! I wonder how do the Dead Apostle Ancestors scale in this world as they could be considered as agents of Gaia or at least an extension of it's will but then again I'm not sure on Gaia and Alaya's influence here. Obviously ''mystery" is gone in this world and gilgamesh was unsuccessful with the separation god and man.

2025-01-28 11:19:55 +0000 UTCThis was a beautiful fight and chapter, showing just what kind of men Loki and Odin are and will continue to be in this lore. I love how Fenrir came back, and was ready to slaughter Odin if he made the slightest wrong move. Can't wait to see what else you have in the future for the story you're writing and creating!!

2025-01-27 08:08:36 +0000 UTCYou know, on one hand I’m kind of iffy on the Norse (Okay in this case, basically just Odin) being in some regards antagonists against the Gang—Mainly cause they provide a bunch of needed assistance to Team DxD in the original series. But also due to [Spoilers for anyone that wants to read DXD] Vali being adopted by Odin being what basically pardons him from being targeted by hell for his heritage and actions. On the other hand, it’s a unique twist that I can kind of jive behind, and it makes sense from a mythological perspective. Odin and Loki did collaborate a good number of times in their old myths. That and, I can see how Shirous existence would provoke someone like Odin, a rational… Albeit lackadaisical and ultimately apathetic person in the OG novels- Would use the opportunity of a RM user for his own benefit. I digress, I’m sure you got plans and I look forward to them! This story has been going on for nearly 4 years now and, you manage to make every subsequent chapter funner and funner despite the passage of time. I’ve loved what’s happened so far, and I’m looking forward to the next arc. Besides that however, hope your eye surgery goes well! Be safe and careful during your recovery, till next time!

2025-01-26 06:10:52 +0000 UTCyay for chapter! i hope all your medical things go good, and dont worry i will wait as long as needed. well its gonna be interesting seeing how they got this close to goetia being born(?)/showing up, and what consequences that will have with emiya. wonder if he will finally notice what happened. i cant wait to see what happens becuase hopefully shirou becomes like Solomon but with the caveat that if he dies that goetia gets to take over. we still have the fgo time issue hanging in the background which is definitely going to be goetia but i do wonder what will be the straw that final kills emiya for good and give goetia true godhood.
