A good showcase of the aftermath and what the main characters are feeling. In particular I like the parts focusing on Akeno and Medusa since a lot of good questions were asked even if answers are not going to be forthcoming anytime soon. And of course there's that ending.

2024-09-01 17:20:15 +0000 UTCThe aftermath makes the weight of the attack feel so much more real, it’s surprising to me that just an arc or two ago was a simple rating game between Gremory and Sitri. Shirou being able to read devil language is an interesting development, I wonder just how much he was affected by what all the worlds evils or whatever’s in him attempted. Him also coming to the conclusion that he needs better weapons makes sense, after all even though he has a fair amount of the good ones like Caladbolg, Hrunting, Durandal, Clarent, and (dunno if he’ll use it) Caliburn, he’s still missing some very useful ones like Gae Bolg and Balmung or anti-divine weapons. After that there’s Medusa getting more priestesses in her religion and getting taller herself, I wonder how long it’ll be before she reaches the height she was as Rider in the HGW. Thinking of heights also got me thinking about Shirous, I think he’s 17 right now, and by the time he hits 19 in cannon he grows a lot only to grow to Archers height presumably in the years afterwards. So if your story has him hit 18 or 19 I hope to see his height and build get bigger as well! Then there’s Setsuna helping Gasper get his more vampiric side out and Ise waking up. Ise is gonna have a fair amount of facing reality to do as well.
