2024-09-01 16:18:48 +0000 UTCWhat a crazy finale! Wrapping up this arc with a bang! Honestly there’s not too much else to say, Vali’s team was very well coordinated and did well for the circumstances. Shirou having an insane last minute plan to save Ise and pulling it off successfully was awesome! Also sooner or later the pendragon siblings are gonna clue in to the secret behind Shirous healing, personally I hope he keeps Avalon regardless. That all said, I look forward to the next chapter and wonder how the reincarnated maous will impact the story from here out.

2024-08-02 09:10:04 +0000 UTCMan what a long chapter, From Vali's group encountering Great Red to fighting juggernaut drive till the climax was exciting to say the least. But the fallout will be huge alright, the original maous being resurrected (or more like their souls(?) possessing their descendants), not sure the current maous and the Council would make that public, that would be bigger disaster waiting to Happen. Not that citizens would be happy about that almost disastrous attack of the old faction and that was just the Original leviathan doing it! Azazel is the first person to notice something is up with Shirou and that it is not Avalon nor the Pegasus that helped him, so I wonder how he and if Shirou would be willing to (or he forgot to think about how he got the second wind while worrying about Issei), look into that matter. And as for Issei... Well he definitely gonna take the brunt of that fallout the most. Him going berserk, rampaging the underworld and nearly destroyed the entire capital is gonna put him under a spotlight of very bad and fearful impression. While it's a miracle (and it really is) that maybe(?) no one died during his rampage, the Public are gonna fear him, the elders having ammo against Rias (especially when they learn Issei killed that creep Diodora), and who knows what they gonna say or do to him by reminding them what juggernaut drive is capable of, and him being the first reincarnated devil to end up becoming that is definitely something. But most of all Issei himself is gonna have it rough, while Asia is safe and sound (sleeping lol), his lifespan is reduced to who knows how long he has left to live, his self esteem is gonna take another huge blow, and definitely gonna be too hard on himself for that matter. Can definitely say that Issei's luck is far worse then Shirou's in that matter. Issei owes Shirou his life twice for saving him. I'm looking forward what future you hold. Edit: I alnost forgot that the armor devoured Ophis's snake. That it will have any effects on Issei after that remains to be seen.

2024-08-01 18:09:05 +0000 UTCI wonder what Irisviel (and Illya) will think when they inevitably hear what Shirou did. Speaking of, it would be nice to see our favourite Mommy again. And I'm curious about how you'll portray OG Mommy Tiamat, since DxD and FGO are quite different in that regard. As always, good chapter.

2024-08-01 17:09:54 +0000 UTCWe have no confirmation about his ability with Rhongomyniad so you can argue either way because it is an weapon in the same level as Ea.
Ronaldo Souza
2024-08-01 05:48:52 +0000 UTCHe still should be able to read and trace it as the only weapon that emiya can’t trace and project is Ea as it predates the concepts of weapons and Gaia

2024-08-01 05:47:21 +0000 UTCIt isn't Fae, it is a Divine Construct that isn't even a lance but actually a giant tower capable of connecting to the Reverse Side of the World.

2024-08-01 05:23:58 +0000 UTCShirou should be able to read rhongomyniad since default shirou already has that stored with the rest of artoria’s fay arsenal thanks to Avalon

2024-08-01 02:45:56 +0000 UTCThanks for the response! For ease of writing, I’ll reply in order. Spoilers? Won’t question further and let ya cook. It’s a shame you had to cut those plots, but I understand that not everyone has taken a deep dive like I have into the Fate lore. If the chance arises, I do hope they come back since Zelretch/The Crimson Moon, and by proxy Magic and Types, are quite relevant to the “Kill Great Red discussion” that was mentioned in this chapter. As a side note, Rhongomyniad, Excalibur, and Ea are also relevant, but I imagine they’ll get their time to shine later. To the powerscaling bit, I didn’t necessarily not think about it, it’s more like you said…DxD is a bit of a mess when it comes to powersclaing. Given the general consensus of powerscaling, mid-tier fate (a lot of servants) caps out at island level via power or crazy hax which goes around that, whereas only Canon Crimson Cardinal Promotion Issei level and above meets that, which eliminates a lot of the DxD cast including the majority of the gods. Since just being in Fate buffs DxD (the mythological beings especially), I just saw the buffs as a widespread buff rather than buffs that only certain people need. As for Great Red, Ophis, and the Trihexa, I see your point. DxD treats concepts super weird. Ophis is supposed to embody infinity, but she somehow loses power despite being infinite? Like what? Great Red also is from a world with Machine Gods that are stronger than him, when he can manipulate reality via dreams? Like also what? (Side note, I actually had an idea of using that Machine God world to tie in to the Greek gods in Fate/play around with the idea that the DxD supernatural are invaders to the Fate world after making this world a Lostbelt, though I never went forward with it lmao). Besides that, I question to what extent you shall stick to the interpretation of these beings, since taken at face value, Great Red and Ophis should quite literally curbstomp a lot of Fate, and thus by proxy, so should Trihexa. Thus, I suggest rather than make them Type Level, it would be better to place them at Beast Level, since Beast VI: 666 is quite literally the fate equivalent of the Trihexa, and thus plays well with any Excalibur plans you got. I say this because the only way to kill a Type beyond True Magic and possibly EA, is to give it a concept of death. For reference, if a weakened ORT in lostbelt seven was not given a concept of death by Beni-Enma Alter plus a literal laundry list of other things, it could not have been killed by Chaldea’s “Excalibur” (for the sake of sanity, I will call it that because it technically is not and trying to figure out the upper limits of excalibur gives me a headache, but for all intents and purposes, consider it an Excalibur equivalent). So unless you plan on messing with all that jazz, Beast level would be your best bet, cause they are still incredibly strong, but easier to beat. Beasts should also be prevalent in this world since Tiamat exists+your plans with the demons (though idk your plans with Tiamat and quite frankly, she is her own nightmare to scale and if you need any help with that I’m glad to provide the scaling work I’ve done on her). Point being, my words of warning in the first comment are still relevant about scaling these three, but I see your reasoning. As for the last bit, I see your reasoning. ORT quite frankly is better off not existing, unless you hope to add a greater final boss behind the Trihexa besides something like Velber. Which speaking of, given Excalibur exists, Velber should too, and by proxy, the majority of gods should be dead. Though I imagine you got a plan to explain that and my following comment as well, but this does kinda lean towards lostbelt territory which is not a fun thing to explain to an audience. Back on track, ORT is simply too strong and really doesn’t need to be there cause it will break things, so I get it. As for Crimson Moon, I wasn’t expecting it to ever show up again cause it quite literally is dead (I do got a bunch of logistics running through my head again about how Ophis probably should have met Crimson Moon, but it doesn’t matter). Zelretch, is weakened, but unless this is a Tsukihime world (Dead Apostle Ancestors exist, servants technically can’t be summoned), he should still be quite strong, but I’ve gone on long enough about him so you get the picture. Arcueid I also get cause she could just be hidden away and sleeping, same with Primate Murder, so I get why she’s gone. I totally forgot about the Time Ban, though I think it would be interesting and also in character for the Aozaki clan to exist. Cause we know how the Fate mages are, they’re willing to break the entire Geneva Convention to reach the root (cough Kiritsugu’s Dad cough), so I don’t think a ban would stop the Aozaki’s for looking for the 5th Magic. And it would also make sense no one talks about the Aozaki’s cause the Gods don’t want to give people any ideas. I also find the idea of Aoko just running around beating up people who hunt her for having the 5th magic quite amusing (since Aoko is know for her temper and unstoppable/uncontrollable nature). Lastly, unfortunately I do not have anything original posted, though I’m in the process of trying. But I do have a One Piece story I wrote on Webnovel called Hero of the Seas. I wanted to try my hand at those gamer fics for fun, but word of caution though since it is quite rough and there’s only like two chapters out. It was something I worked on when I had time and I haven’t had the chance to work on it since my ass was getting screwed over by college classes. Sorry for the crazy long response again. Fate always brings out the PHD thesis writing in me lmao.

2024-08-01 00:42:35 +0000 UTCMost of the stuff you are asking are spoilers but a lot of it... I had plans to include in the past people complained that enough wasn't happening, or they wanted to get to some cannon events soon and some other stuff that made me change those plans. For you see, I had plans to include more about Crimson Moon and other stuff, a certain Kaleidoscope also was bound to show up, but as time passed I found myself cutting that because there is a lot here that could confuse the readers. Consequence, a lot had to be cut out and since there are gods running around that isn't necessarely a big loss, not even an incovinience really. It helped that I could do something with DxD that you actually aren't considering: I am not really buffing all of it, just the ones who need. Beings like Great Red and Ophis are supposed to be the 'Type' from DxD... the problem is that the whole story and universe has a problem with powerscaling. Seriously, it is ridiculous. It isn't that they are weaker than ORT but that they are potrayed badly... way too badly in Great Red's case considering what he should represent. I mean, a Dragon God of Dreams that can technically do anything and everything, the representation of ZERO given form... and he dies for nothing. Trihexa is another victim of this; here is a creature God was desperate enough to seal and not kill, even Lucifer didn't get that treatment. And it is relegated to what? A factory/berserk/ plot to remove some people from the board because the author didn't want to kill them. From the begining my focus had been on making a story where everyone have a certain urgency which was why some plots are extremely good while others need time to cook. Let me just finish with that the reason why ORT or Crimsom Moon or Arcueid aren't on the Top Ten is because they either never presented themselves, because they either can't be around or the problem was solved. Zeltrech is around and by defeaut Type Moon is contained with the Sorcerer becoming weaker because of that fight, while others elements... can't exist withot breaking the World. Aoko and her Clan History don't exist, or exist in other form, because there is a BAN on time travel which was already refered in the past as in nobody, not even Kronos, can mess with time. For the rest, as I said on the begining, there are spoilers but if you want to know where we are on the Nasuverse focus on Fate and its interactions. Also, what did you write? Something I could read?

2024-08-01 00:02:42 +0000 UTCGreat chapter as per usual! I’ve noticed that the chapter quality has significantly improved especially in the pacing ever since the Zouken arc, and I’m glad to see it! However, I do have a couple questions and concerns I need to share. So far you have been greatly successful with mixing both the DxD world and the Nasuverse, and I’m very impressed. Fate exceeds DxD by a significant margin in terms of complexity for world building and power, and for the most part so far, you’ve done an excellent job in balancing and combining the two. This chapter though has given me a cause for concern with the “Ultimate Dragon Slaying Lifeform” Ophis is trying to build. Is this a reference to the Types/Is this going to be a Type? If this has nothing to do with Types and it is its own unique thing, then my concern is meaningless. However, if it is meant to be the Types, I do not know how comfortable I am with the scaling aspect of this matter. Ophis, Great Red and the Trihexa combined do not even compare to ORT’s pinky toe, let alone one of them being able to create a Type. Given that, I understand why you increased Ophis’ and Great Red’s power, but I believe this is going too far in DxD’s favor. The DxD power curve has already been significantly raised to match Fate’s quite well, and Fate has been nerfed quite a bit by limiting their powerhouses such as the amount of the Gate of Babylon Gil has access to and the amount of control Arthur has over Rhongo (which I think is good, otherwise quite frankly, the Ea button insta wins against everything). To be a bit more clear, nerfing the Types feels a bit like glazing DxD too much. Of course, if this is just supposed to be like a pseudo-type or some unique entity, what I said is irrelevant, but I do hope you keep it in mind. With that said, I do question how much of the Nasuverse material you are going to work with. So far it seems like you’ve been sticking to the Stay/Night and Zero, but there’s been hints of Grand Order, especially as of late with the demons inside Shirou. My question then is, to what extent are you pulling content from the Nasuverse? Is this going to mainly stay relevant to Stay/Night and Zero, with sprinkles of other series, or are we going to get relevant arcs from the other content such as the singularities? Is there going to be any relevance to Tsukihime or Kara no Kyoukai? I ask in part due to curiosity, but also because Ive noticed some inconsistencies. Regardless of the series, ORT, the Crimson Moon/Dead Apostles/Arcueid, and the Magicians are mainstays in the series, and we have seen quite little mention of them mentioned except for Zelretch once that I can remember. Unless they are irrelevant or have been simply been cut from the equation, I fail to see how Ophis has not approached either Zelretch or Aoko given the potency of True Magic to kill Types and it has not been mentioned as a viable way to kill Great Red. Same thing with the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, given they can kill anything as long as it has a concept of death (relative to Ryougi Shiki), that should also be a way. And not just the magicians, Arcueid and ORT should be relative to the conversation given they exist regardless of the existence of Dead Apostle Ancestors and both have the power to stomp Great Red. ORT especially, since it should be slumbering in Central America, and unless the Mage Association somehow hid all information about it, Ophis should be aware of it. Now, if anything I’m saying is going to be covered in subsequent chapters and keeps in mind my concerns for the powerscaling, just confirming would ease my worries and I’ll stop yapping. Though if it is possible to see a top 10 strongest for this story, I would appreciate it so I can better understand the direction. Sorry for the long comment, and I hope I did not come off as rude or harsh. As a long term reader of this story and a fellow writer, I appreciate all the work you’ve put into this story and I can see how far you’ve developed. Any criticism or suggestions I give come from good faith in the high quality of this story. I hope everything’s going well and I look forward to the next chapter!
