That cliffhanger was definitely one of the most shocking ones so far. Only one thing left with the rating game side and it seems like things also went off the rails outside of it too.

For the first fight Ravel and Gasper handled the chimaeras decently well, Kanshou and Bakuyas anti-monster properties making them especially effective. It was cool to see Ise finally getting his turn, but also being reminded to avoid giving himself over to his anger. Then there was the fight between the Leviathan of old and new and wow was it done better than I expected. The identity reveal was well done and so was Leviathans acknowledgment of Serafall. The escalation of the fight in Leviathans favour until she forced Serafall into going all out was done creatively, I didn’t expect such a wide variety of attacks including even a technical method of necromancy. Admittedly the comments on acknowledging each other did get repetitive as the fight went on but the fight was still good. Then in the end Levithan was immune to Serafalls absolute zero through what seems like an advanced magic resistance and ended up winning. This surprised me becuase I thought that the new satans were all stronger than their old counterparts, granted the only one I knew for sure was Sirzechs being the strongest devil of all time. Then there was the ending, a sneak peak to the result of the Diodora confrontation, I assume you wouldn’t kill off Asia but I don’t know what else could have happened. Man all of a sudden everything seems to have taken a turn for the worse on all fronts. This makes the next chapter a really enticing one!

2024-06-12 11:00:02 +0000 UTCYOOOO, IF ISSEI WENT JD, THEN THAT MEANS MY BOY GETS TO SHOW UP WOOOOOO!!! Also great chapter! If Leviathan is back then, I imagine the other Maou are not that far behind, or maybe not? We’ll just have to wait and see. The others absence is felt in the chapter, but I imagine that’s intentional. What matters is that next chapter, it’s likely that they’ll react to what’s occurring throughout the arena. Although if Issei went Juggernaut, then, we’re going to get a scene detailing how that occurred? I hope so. Ultimately, the fight this chapter as amazing, and I honestly can’t wait for what happens in the next few chapters. It’s clear that the Fuyuki Crew isn’t really gonna be the same, for good or bad, in the coming future.
