This was quite the conclusion to quite a few things simultaneously. I had no doubt in my mind that the Gremory peerage was vastly Superior and Akeno herself could have definitely won the whole thing if she really wanted to. However when it was a one-on-one confrontation that's when things really got tense, especially when Ravel started getting creative. Also getting to see her thought process when things were especially difficult was quite the show of her character. Never would have thought that at the end of it all all she wanted was Rias to acknowledge her but it makes sense in hindsight.

2024-03-01 17:50:55 +0000 UTCGood chapter! It was great how they all started dominating their fights at a similar time, and it all went as expected, but Akeno’s Noble Gear was a cool surprise! Now I can’t wait until Rias gets one! Though getting a core would be difficult, the only idea that came to my mind is what if she used her mana connection to Shirou to (somehow) establish a path to UBW which could temporarily act as a core to a Noble Gear that she would have on her. (That idea doesn’t sound plausible at all but the thought of her somehow spamming destruction swords was a cool thought). Rias’s fight with Ravel was good, Ravel genuinely did have a good plan for handling Rias and had definitely improved a lot herself. I look forward to the next chapter and to see Rias’s Noble Gear whenever she gets one and maybe even Shirous if he makes one for himself in the future!

2024-02-07 22:36:33 +0000 UTCDamn, I was thinking "it would be so cool if Ravel was actually fangirling for Rias, just devil style" and then I read Ravel literally say that...Great minds think alike it seems. I Loved the ending. Akeno was the GOAT, worthy of her Goddess. Ravel was peak too, I'm hyped to witness how her relationship with the Emiya-Gremory side will evolve. Can't wait for the next chapter!

2024-02-06 22:13:11 +0000 UTCArcher can hit farther if he doesn't try to focus as well. It isn't just about precision but the range of the blast and attack. If Archer is using one of his most destructive NPs he doesn't need to aim, same for Rias. To be fair Archer's part is my speculation but makes sense.

2024-02-06 00:04:12 +0000 UTCRias hitting a Target “hundreds of kilometres distance” is fucked. Archer Emiya could only do 4 kilometres.

2024-02-05 23:41:34 +0000 UTCMan, I like that attitude. To hell with the negative comments. Now I know that you owe me a bow with the modern era and technology. Hell, language becomes a pretty big barrier. What in the first instance seems to be sarcastic comments ends up being a little blunt. About the battles, it was a compliment. I like it because even if we can't make staff cuts, it energizes the agony a little. About the light. It is more of a narrative resource. If you use it with a comment, it loses its touch narratively. And no, I totally disagree on the point of "arriving at those speeds." Vali couldn't reach the speed of light if I remember correctly until he used "Lucifer". It's good that narratively speaking you keep the characters in their domains. If everyone can go to the moon. So what's the point of developing the bases and their domains? Now, I didn't understand about Gasper. To be honest... I just wanted them to arrive in Romania for Lorelei. Yes... it's my guilty taste. Your fault. Well, that and the apostles. But seeing what happened with that topic. Let's worry about the present. And Akeno and Vali. I really like Vali as a character and in my personal opinion they can have interactions that complement each other very well. How playful Akeno is. It's a shame that they won't develop that. Seeing why Vali despite looking like a simple character. He gets to have very good monologues and an extraordinary conviction. In fact, even if he collides with Shirou. I wonder what his thought will be once he knows what Vali is really hiding. Well, Cao Cao also has his own battle. Anyway. Thank you as always for responding to the App. Have a good week.

2024-02-05 02:00:03 +0000 UTCHonestly while I am always grateful for reviews like this, I never know where to begin with them while also avoiding spoilers. Lets go with something basic, the fights; comparing Shirou vs Altria and Akeno vs Yubelluna it was because that one in particular had a lot more of strategic elements behind it. In the latter fight there were pauses for strategy, explanations to make sure everyone was in the same page and such while the latter it was basically 'boom' everywhere while Akeno held back. The speed of light comment was an attempt to put some effect on it but if you say it was bad I shall avoid doing so. Althoght the cast is starting to get into that territory anyway. Also Akeno is the strongest member of the ORC by far save a fully unleashed Ise and a Bellerophon full power Shirou, not counting Medusa because for the moment she isn't a fighter. Also NP still better than NG in general but also depends of the NP. Some are just naturally not stronger but others are just... too broken to compare. Lets go on a case to case basis and say that no, Akeno isn't tanking the blast that Xenovia did but she has more versatility and fire power. About Setsuna and Yoruichi contributions, yes, for our hanyou that will be part of her arc but because we have so much to go through before that she is kinda in the back burner. It can't be helped, DxD alone has too many characters to go work with and I haven't even touched Gasper yet. That is one that really is only going to get development waaaaaay later, I mean, beyond the basics of stopping being shy. If people already consider Akeno and Vali's existence BS then wait until I reveal what Gasper really is... or you all may hate it because I may be 'killing' the original caracter in a sense but, meh, we will get there when we get there. Also I was trying to avoid the Sukuna meme as much as I could but it couldn't be helped. Devils are all about power and earning respect throught it sooner or later a 'You were strong' speech would get invoked somewhere. Next mini arc it will be Shirou and Xenovia, plus two already know but surprise caracters that I doubt you can guess, shinning with Ise.

2024-02-05 01:44:55 +0000 UTCHahahaha. Man, that moment when Rias tells Ravel to be proud of being strong. It reminded me of the JJK memes with Sukuna and Jogo. Now: roll of drums. Although I wanted to pull my eyes out for 1/4 of the chapter, I must say that I liked it a lot. Especially the fight between the queens. Again you play with the narrative here. If we return to your first fight, the current paragraphs are shorter but not as many as those of ShirouVsAltria, which differentiates the orientations in the combat of each one. What makes me ask. What will happen when two opponents of different configurations face each other under this same format? I'm anxious to know. We still need to improve group confrontations. There were times when the rhythm in two paragraphs seemed not to advance. It also happens in the last confrontation. The narrative should say that while they exchanged blows they had to move with the environment, but when reading it it seems that they are stopped. Similar to the Stormtroopers. Now moments in which maybe you skated. During the confrontation of the queens. The reader must have been seeing the fight through the eyes of the Queen of Ravel. If that is the case, what is the reason why he directly mentions the shield of Galahad? Only Sitri and Gremory had to know that information. Nobody ever mentions his name, so they shouldn't know who he belonged to. You mention Quetz, yes, it's no surprise. I thought you would keep her anonymous. In a way it makes me wonder if you are cooking something or if it was a mistake. Did Akeno know that Barakiel went to the protected kingdom of Quetz? In a way it loses its charm because I can no longer theorize with the LB7 since then the Mayas/Incas/Aztecs are alive.:c And in the end, does Rías want a core? I have a conflict here, you know. As I understood the "Gear" part, they are the gifts obtained by the Gods through the tasks entrusted by them. It has its charm of being like that and that's what we called "Gift" or that's what it seemed like at first. But core? As I remember, the core was what the swords had in their center. Something that narratively you haven't explained. Either you plan to skip it or you will introduce it later. I think you'll go for the first thing. Practically no one asks where they come from. Especially since ReedBooster goes from being a prototype to entering the Noble Gears branch. Especially since it does not differentiate what is in essence a mystical code with steroids from a "gift" with noble phantom. I say if the "gift" allows you to extract the whole history of the NP. Or so it seemed. Because of course. We didn't see that Shirou forged with Durandal. I still think that what Odin did was the test that gives the "gear" part to Xenovia. He himself mentions it. However, the case of Akeno is even more interesting. What is your NP? Yes, this is very interesting. Because it conflicts with the statement that NG can be marketed so poorly, I say Altria out of nowhere jumps saying that he wants an NG (I don't want to talk about the monumental shit that was that, but, until Merlin appears I prefer to forget that I read those chapters) then an NG is superior to an NP and an SG? Then ReedBooster in essence can beat the crystallization of a legend. Returning to Akeno. If the above is simply my misinterpretation of the narrative. If we go back to the statement that the current Medusa is writing its own story and legend. But, can the gods write such an odyssey? I remember that in Troy, Achilles says that the gods envy them. Then it's really jellyfish or it's Shirou who is recording the new story of jellyfish through her soul at the Root and in turn on the throne. Yes, it's nonsense, but it's a logical solution. And if an NP is in essence a crystallized legend. The NG of Akeno is essentially the primitive history of snakes. Shit, if the NGs become what it seems. That gives so that if they are treated with dignity they are objects that evolve much more than the SG. The NPs can't go further but these can. Even Xenovia who has Durandal that his legend concludes with Roland. But, there's another magnificent story. Durandal ends when he tries to destroy her, but he doesn't succeed. And in Fate where several versions of the same weapon can coexist. Or hell it's really impressive. I hope you're cooking there. Now just a piece of advice. If you use the "speed of light" as a resource, you must be careful not to abuse this resource. Don't say that their attacks move at that speed. It ruins its charm in a certain way. And when the guys appear who can fight at the speed of light without disheveling themselves. Well, it will ruin that fact a little. Only the attacks used by Luz and Yoruichi should be hanging around. Now a negative aspect that may not be bad but is only annoying when it comes to reading. What is the point of excessive brutality? I feel that he loses the joke that the only one who receives serious damage in a fight is the one who has the highest healing capacity. Superficially it seems that it is useful to say which side is superior, but a priori it only makes you ask. What is the meaning of this if in the end we know that no one is going to die? That no one is going to have sequels? It becomes exhausting, Souichirou, Shirou and now Ravel. It is true that she is saved by Phenex and that but she tries to prevent this pattern from becoming repetitive later. It doesn't really contribute to the plot. Seek doesn't count because it happened off camera. And well. Dear Akeno. If this followed the script, she would be the heroine who will take the lead. But the ProtaErogeEX did not allow the traditional. Although more worldly moments between the main couples would not affect anyone. Although, I must say that lately you are pampering the ORC too much, everyone has time to shine, impressive fights, magical armor and things like that. While the Emiya group has hardly had a chance to shine. Yes, Xenovia shone holding the equivalent of being thrown energy at blank range, but that scene loses meaning when the mutated angel only had 1 pair of wings (or 2 pairs). Since Xenovia tanks herself the spiritual pressure of Kokabiel and Yoruichi while she was weaker than now. And Shirou, well. His confrontation with Altria is a little overshadowed by the exaggeration of Avalon's healing and UBW's awakening was bland. Hey! But everyone liked it. It is true that it was another way of escape, using Ruler. Very intelligent and I respect him, but, what happens with all the development? If emiya's RM is supposed to be his whole life ahead. Where is the value of UBW? If Emiya is the abyss that looks at Shirou, the end of her desire. The one from UBW accepts it and decides to live with that, continue and find Kiritsugo's desire for his own ideal. On the other hand, HF's rejects the abyss and takes another path, which causes his RM to collide with Emiya's, different ideals and that. So what moves this Shirou? We could say that he seeks the power to defend those he loves. But now what? If that's all of HF, he wouldn't need 10 years to develop his MRI. It's ingenious that ruler helped him, but what could have been an opportunity for Shirou to self-discover. It ended in nothing and less. It seems that you wanted everything to end quickly by complying with the 30K quota of words. There is nothing to do anymore. Shirou has his RM and that's all. I guess that's how it should have happened. UBW is just the trump card that the ShirouFF uses to beat everyone. It's not the representation of your dream at all. I think I'll stay at the VN. In a way, the only thing I ask you is to write the scene in which Shirou and Rin forge the jeweled sword. Luvia has nothing to do there. Whether it was by intention or by mistake. The Edelfet doesn't contribute anything. I guess that's why I like "Home is where the heart belongs" in my opinion the best chapter so far. Vali can take the best fight, but all the development throughout the chapters. It ends there, after that Shirou practically stops developing as a character in the narrative. It goes from being "I grow up with the world" to being "the world must grow with me." He has moments of development after that but none like the one he has in that chapter. Out of nostalgia. The boys of the Emiya team deserve to shine. Xenovia, Shirou, Liz even Setsuna that his greatest contribution was to fight with a hunter retired from Artemis. We will be close to Kyoto, I imagine. There is only the adventure with the "Beatles", Diodora and we would already be there. Unless you include Aphrodite and a team from the Faction of Heroes looking for the grail. Seeing that the Nordics are out of the equation. We would already be from the 'eyebrow to the eye'. That's good, once you're done with Sairaorg and Rías, you graduate, the world of DxD opens up. It's like open-world games. You can camp and the story will move more. Of course, if we don't have 12 additional chapters under the premise of "this will be useful later." In other news. Akeno>>>>all. Undoubtedly the one that best developed has had. Yoruichi practically behind and Setsuna with 0 contributions to Social Security. I wonder once if they rebel against Vali's dark little secret. How Akeno will react. She is essentially her distant grandmother. Hahaha. I hope to see that. Anyway, thank you for the chapter. And also for reading my nonsense. We hope to see you next time.
