Made a mistake and lost the notion of days when

Comments

And the rating game has started! So far, going into this I think Ravel just hasn’t accounted for how much stronger most of Rias’s peerage has gotten hence why she thinks she can win so long as she deals with Issei. The fights have started well and are going as expected, I hope Issei managed to retire some pieces soon so they can really feel the pressure from him while everyone else from Ravel’s peerage will either locked in a fight or retired. Asides from that Shirou brining Raiser out with that comment was funny, it was unexpected but makes sense as a last resort to evoke a response. Shirous whole approach to the Phenex situation makes more sense than Rias’s, but I can see where Rias was coming from. I look forward to the next chapter and the continuation of the fight!

Damn, if I had known I would have kept my mouth shut. I guess it's the fault of both sides. To be honest there is a lot of text that we could have saved. But at the end of the day it is your story. I'm a little worried about mixing all the “ends of the world” from all mythologies. The Apocalypse deserves to have its own arc for everything it implies and the paradigm shift. I don't know your vision, but although it is fictional that all this happens, at the end of the day you are proposing a massive change in the Christian world. Having multiple “ends of the world” would really ruin the magic that such an odyssey could represent. Even Ragnarok. Anyway. Thanks for your time.

Honestly the thing with Caladbolg was because UBW pretty much facilitated everything but outside of it he couldn't even use the sword so he not using arias was a way to show how strong he is on his world unless he was really pushing it like when he summoned several Hruntings. Yes, he isn't going to be Batman because he actually needs a realistic amount of time to come up with a plan and only if he sees the threat coming. About Ragnarok... lets just say it is going to take a while and it will be... Ragnarok, Apocalips and other end of the world scenarios happening pretty much at the same time. About technology, to be honest I had plans but people complained I was taking too long and I just... let it go to the background.

Fair enough. You know, I think I didn't express myself correctly regarding the use of NPs, my complaint was not about the fight but about Shirou cheating with the NPs within his RM. Certainly he can suffer the same penalty regarding the invocation of his trump card. I went on too long to say that “Shirou looks more amazing when he says: Prepare the spiral! Feast your eyes on a real rainbow! Caladbolg!!, that when he says: Caladbolg” Certainly the “prepared for a mock battle” card is still valid since Gilgamesh and the hero faction are promised to confront him. Frequently FateFF authors tend to turn Shirou into Batman "with a plan to neutralize everyone." So my concern was there. But it's good to know that you're not going down that path yet. We already saw it against Altria. And well, in terms of the duration of the arcs, it is more generated by reaching Ragnarok. Yes, I know I'm annoying about that. In my defense it is certainly justified. Within the canonical arcs we have 24 chapters divided into 4 arcs, the longest being Caliburn's for obvious reasons. And damn I can't forgive Ishibumi for writing the mess that was canon Ragnarok. That arc deserves a redemption and you being the first to technically go through the alliance arc between the three factions. Even the most absurd justification like “oh no, Ragnarok has begun and we are destined to die Brokk and Sindri are missing and we have no one to repair Gram. But wait, Odin gave a primordial rune to Shirou. “We need a hero.” Now out of that. Do you have anything planned with the internet and technology? I'm really curious. It is true that it can be counted as a spoiler. Arcueid mentions in a dialogue that if something can hurt his type, it is the internet. Medusa's mention of the cultural popularity of the gods in the modern world through digital. And well we have machine gods and mystery. Even that device on the moon that we are forbidden to talk about. It wouldn't be strange if a little mystery were lost here and there and some kind of digital God was born. Does American Gods sound familiar to you? Something similar to that. Anyway, it would certainly be funny to see Shirou serving as Odin's chauffeur while “globalization” tries to kill them on North American soil.

Well, I don't know where to start or what to say. Even in your negative comment you caught yourself and remembered that yes, the armor is incomplete. But what you forgot about the fight agains Vali was that Shirou labbed, or simulated, use whichever term you prefer, that fight for days. While Vali got in there with little to no prepare and just his natural capabilities, Shirou went there with a plan A, Ascalon, plan B, Bellerophon, and a Plan C which involved throwing every single sword that he had on a rain of blades while empowered by Ascalon. Obvioulsy plan B worked and the C was more of a desperate play that wasn't even worth to mention but the guy had gone there with plans and that was the point. A about the lenght of this Arc and the boys helping Ise... this one will be shorter than you think and the boys aren't the ones you are thinking.

Among other things, something I had forgotten to mention. Perhaps because of the euphoria of that moment due to the RM. It's not fair that you take away Vali's Juggernaut Drive oath but Shirou can use the true name of the NPs within the RM. You know, I know you said that we would have another path of development regarding that. Yes, it's Shirou's own world. But it's enough plot armor that his MR consumes less than Pegasus's armor (it's also valid to say that the reason for his true consumption is that it's not fully realized). It also in a way takes away charisma and emotion. Noble Phantasm must be epic. Yes, I know that canonically they could let loose without saying the aria like Brahamastra Kundala or Balmung's Burst, damn even Gae Bolg. But in my opinion the fact that Shirou only uses Caladbolg without saying his name or Okita's technique without saying his oath is a bit sad? bland? I wouldn't know what to call it. Are you going to tell me that it's not exciting when Shirou and Altria raise their swords and say the oath anyway? Or when Karna and Sieg release everything at the end? Or even when Arash pulls the arrow from him? Or when Muramasa splits Amakusa's RM in half. Damn is the most epic and exciting thing that Fate has. Anyway. Thanks for reading me. As always, good chapter and I'll wait for the next one.

Now if you allow me to criticize a negative aspect. You know I feel like all the characters on the Gremory side fight under the Shirou archetype. Yes, you know “he uses your cards wisely and saves energy”. The truth is that knowing the difference in power, this seems to be more useful to grammatically lengthen the RG than anything. Canonical Kiba had varied swordsmanship and that was demonstrated against canonical Kokabiel but here he is always with a sword, practically ignoring the most important quality of his Sacred Gear and that is what made him versatile. He is the opposite of Shirou. The same with Isei, boosted gear and Divine Dividing consume stamina if I remember correctly. I understand that Ise is not Draig but going back to canon. The most exciting thing about Ise is when he came out Draig shouting [boost, boost, boost] it certainly ruins a lot of the essence of the character. Even his own statement that he says that he was taught in the dragon forest. Please! A dragon is a mass of power and pride. Using the slightest amount of power is an insult to them and even goes so far as to contradict Ise who uses his Balance Breaker against the remnants of Sona's nobility. Even though Akeno hasn't fought yet I already see that he will follow the same scheme. You know in Akeno's two previous fights it was somewhat justified. I mean, in fight club she knew she would go against several opponents in a row and in RG she knew she had to be cautious against NPs. But there comes a point where you wonder if all the fights from now on will follow the same pattern. They meet - they clash skills without spending the minimum necessary - someone is hurt - they use ultimate skills and it's over (all that within two chapters) it is true that under the political veil, crushing your enemy without using or revealing all your cards is a plus that reinforces the position. But my reason for expressing this criticism is precisely so that when there is no politics, it is fought in the best way.

It's incredible, I don't know why sometimes I get the feeling that this story is written by more than one person. The feeling of this chapter compared to the previous ones is indisputable. Or maybe it's your talent for creating atmosphere. Anyway, good chapter. Seek's eye. Could we say that “you are cooking” Ophelia's entrance on the scene? I sincerely hope so. If we manage to advance history before the Middle East explodes and the 2030 agenda assimilates us, it will be a great achievement. Although I have to say that I was going to complain about the handling of the Young Devil RG since this arc will probably last 4 chapters. What is happening is interesting. I had been worried because you said we'd have an arc with the ORCBoys trying to cure Ise. I imagine you changed it for this, right? It's better that way. Having Shirou as a lone wolf is great. Although it is a shame that his participation will last so short. Honestly, he deserved to shine alone. Although it's a shame, it was also a good opportunity for Rin to go with him so they could have an on-screen interaction and not off-screen. Anyway, seeing Shirou in politics is something I was looking forward to. You know why? Although he does not know it, Zekram has a pending conversation with him. This is because of the center of power that Shirou is gathering in his hand. Each person with whom he has a relationship, whether romantic or friendship, has a title, either current or future, of power. And he is in the center. Being a character who, with his actions in the future, could move the balance and harm some and favor others if he is not careful. And anyway he has a score to settle with Riser. And revenge. I like that focus you have on “Gremory Love” also Dante appears here and that reminds me that you once mentioned Fate power-ups. And although a certain maiden comes to mind who caused a war against those who killed her beloved Siegfried. It really makes me feel accomplished. And hell the last fight between Shirou and Rias was 45 chapters ago. I really missed those scenes. In a way they help their development. I wonder if Rias remembers that she literally opened Ravel's brain with the power of destruction. That in a way is an eye for an eye for an eye and so the wheel turns.
