This chapter went from calm topics about music and stuff to an all out advancement of a plot from a Greek God. At first I was thinking about how Shirou copying skills to play music was funny. Now after finishing the chapter all I want is for everyone to get back and help Rin!

Something tells me that because of whatever Aphrodite has in store, Angelo/Gil and Shirou will bond over their dislike of Goddesses of Love. Anyways, I can't wait for grown up Medusa, and more Rossweisse content...and for Yoruichi and Setsuna's return in the story. BTW, I'm wondering when Athena will finally appear and what she's doing now.

2023-06-21 20:09:24 +0000 UTCAs a reader I really like the fact that out of the pantheon of Gods you could have chosen you went with Aphro. Opens up avenues to interactions with both her divines lovers which are both interesting within the context of our protagonist. A god of the forge and a god of war , one you would assume to be on his side against her and one against him, make for interesting potential plot threads. Using aphro also ties up well with this version of Shirou keeping a harem as well as the characters roots of an eroge game protag. The only thing I will say about the last maybe 10 chapters is that I feel like Yorichi is getting a little forgotten about. In this unique and massive world you’ve constructed I can appreciate that it’s hard to balance ‘screen time’ but I feel like she hasn’t been mentioned or thought of by any of our characters in at least 7 chapters. Hope she makes her return to the story in some fashion soon. Overall love the direction we’re heading and i look forward to these chapters every fortnight. Keep up the great work.

Of all arcs this is the one more... isolated to write per say as it is an event of Rating Games but some matches can be interesting... to not let out protagonist out Shirou is going to have an adventure or two while Rias Peerage has their time to shine and a lot of stuff is going to be different on them. Also about Rin, as I told someone else already, that is a building block for a future tragedy.

And I'm not angry at you or anything, all of last night I was realizing if I didn't even care for the character and had that much of a reaction then imagining what it must have been like to write it was a lot. Mostly I was just venting because I really really don't like rape in stories. Thanks for responding though

2023-06-20 11:08:28 +0000 UTCTo better explain it would be to say this, Aphrodite won't ever see what she did as wrong and would be offended you called it rape because techinically it wasn't, it was worse. She made Rin fall in true love with her, did her thing because this is not even the top 10 worse things she did in myth and departed because she has plans and she needs a pair of eyes on the ground around Medusa. Also she 'paid' for the service so in her mind, and most gods', she did nothing wrong. That is the terrifying some gods can be.

You did a really good job in the writing that for someone as myself who usually can decide what they feel, for once I am overcome with emotions that just won't go away. Good job. Also when you put this on ff.net give the chapter a content warning for rape or something, because I would have been a lot happier had I not read any of that and now I can't unread it.
