Second, sports anime really benefit from how ridiculous the dialogue sounds in English because most serious athletes ARE this intense. And finally... I think a lot of Sub preferers are like me and overcompensate for being TOO staunchly Dub in our youth. You're right that this Dub fucks, though.

2023-02-28 17:31:54 +0000 UTCNicoās voice actor does a few recognizable roles actually. Heās Todoroki from MHA, Rei in Buddy Daddies, and Wolfwood in Trigun Stampede. Also on the topic of Trigun I agree, not only was the writing weird the CG lip flaps never seemed to really fit the voice acting in the English dub. It was really distracting. Iām glad youāre enjoying the soccer sorcery show, it goes so hard and has spoiled me for how hype sports anime can be. Looking forward to more \o/
