Changing charge date for NEW patrons (current patrons will stay the same)
Added 2022-09-29 17:02:43 +0000 UTCJust wanted to make a quick announcement that Patreon is finally letting us choose if we charge at the beginning of the month vs on signup date for new patrons, and I’ve decided to make the change to charging on signup date!
This will not affect current Patrons!! You will still be charged the same as you always have, at the beginning of the month. But I wanted to let you know about this change in case you have to pause your pledge for any reason and sign up again later.
The main reason I’m doing this is mostly because I’ve had a lot of new patrons get upset when they sign up at the end of the month and get charged again in a few days when the next month starts. For that reason I try not to promote my Patreon at the end of the month, which is frustrating when something spicy happens in my comic publicly and I get a surge of new followers.
Anyways it’s a pretty minor change and won’t affect anything content-wise! Just wanted to be transparent. ^^

Honestly I would've preferred it be an individual situation (like where the patrons can alter the time between just the first of the month or the subscription date) since having it all taken care of in one fell swoop was a lot easier for me to plan for, and tended to happen right after I got paid. Its really nice that the change wont automatically affect existing patrons who want to keep the "1st of the month" charge though!

Seems kinda silly to get mad at you over it. But do what's easiest for you! Your works awesome, your characters are *chef kiss*, and I'll be giving you all of my paycheck either way Imao
