2023-12-17 15:32:15 +0000 UTCHey Kelsea. Grew up on a dairy farm. Bulls are uncastrated males. Steers are castrated bulls and used only for meat. Cows are females. Both cows and bulls/steers have horns, but these are generally removed to avoid injury to each other and to the farmhands. Scientists are genetically modifying domesticated bovines to be hornless. So much for evolution. Are their tails next? Will not comment on Inara (your expression indicates we stay clear of that subject) other than to say her relationship with Mal is... complex. I mean obviously Inara and Mel used to be together or have some sort of relationship and he feels pretty sour about her choosing to live that lifestyle. He's definitely mean about it but I think she clearly knows that he's hurt by seeing the woman he loves living that way. She's smart enough to know his bitterness comes from his love for her.

But on the other hand, and maybe this is just me, but why is Inara so nice to the captain??? Heβs been insulting her this whole show so far, and treating her like dirt, so why is she still so friendly with him?!!!?? Am I missing something?!? Give him a jab to the throat as well. Then she can be CAPTAIN.
