2023-03-14 07:25:41 +0000 UTCI kinda like "The Dag" which is one of the wives, she is the one who says cryptic things like... "Angharad, is that just the wind or is it some furious vexation?" Then at this time she pretends to try to cut Max's chain, lol. Later to Cheedo, The Dag says, "Wring your hands, tear your hair. We are not going back."

2023-03-14 07:18:47 +0000 UTCMy interpretation of Max is that he had turned his back on society. He had also turned "mad." But out there in the wasteland he had learned to live again. And in this story he regained his humanity but the wasteland beckons and he must complete his searching to find perhaps his better self. What is to happen in the Citadel is that society will have to be restarted again... but Max cannot become part of that until he has finished his own personal journey... I was so touched though by Kelsea's reaction when Max slipped away into the crowd... only nodding to Furiosa as a farewell.
