a new excellent series (so far, it has to be said) is Hulu’s RESERVATION DOGS. Created entirely by indigenous directors and native writers about native Americans set in Oklahoma USA. Native Americans finally get their voice! This is the reality today. A GREAT GREAT SHOW. Love it.

The editing was INCREDIBLE! I definitely want to check out that movie!!!

So, now, and even if you don't do a reaction on video to it, watch the original "The Haunting" film from 1963. It's definitely different in terms of family trauma, but terrifying and they did such a great job carrying over names and certain aspects of some scenes from the film (via the original book) to the series. The editing on this show just blew me away as they jumped between timelines and the performances were just so good all around. Glad you finally finished it!

Yes I totally agree this is a FEELING show!!! All the pieces of the haunting puzzle didn't easily come together for me at the end but it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the show whatsoever! I just don't think that part of the story is where the strength is! The emotional journey, the characters and their stories and developments, and the dynamics displayed between all of them were absolutely the parts that blew me away! Not many shows can make me feel this much about every single character starting from episode 1 and having a satisfactory payoff in only 10 episodes. I love this show so much. And ya, maybe one day the little bits and pieces of the haunting aspect will come together more for me, but if not, it doesn't even really matter. Wasn't the point! BUT i do love hearing theories or perspectives that I may not have thought of!

It's always such a strange feeling when you finish a series. This is a little different cause it's only 10 episodes but still you've spent about 10 hours in this universe and it has a way of becoming a piece of your life for that time. This was such a complicated show to know how to feel about it. Cause there were times when I didn't like any of the characters. And I'm pretty sure that's what was intended. But then by the end...I was in on all of them. That probably means this was a fantastic show cause it really was. Even if I was confused what was going on a decent amount of the time, not sure that's really what this was about. This is a feeling show. Maybe on a second watch I'll see other things that fill in the gaps but I don't necessarily need that. Anyway, another thing about finishing a show? I don't have to hide from the comments! Not that I think anyone was out here spoiling anything but even in the Orphan Black threads I've found it's hard not to unintentionally spoil at least minor details just by talking about it. So I didn't want any of that. So I'm free now. The first thing I did when I finished was go to YouTube and watch a couple "things you missed on Hill House!" videos. 😂 OK then...time to finish Fleabag & then dive back into Orphan Black!
