Yeah, if you really still think Di$ney fundamentally understands - and/or even cares about George Lucas' vision for - Star Wars at all at this point in time, I'd highly question your sanity.

2022-07-24 04:49:25 +0000 UTC[sigh] In usual Disney Star Wars fashion, they feel the need to 1) cut down characters from the original 6 movies/make them often look foolish in order to prop up their new, highly non-descript creations; 2) pull a gratuitous bait-and-switch (Obi-Wan ends up protecting Leia more than Luke! -- even though she should've had plenty of others to look after her, being Alderaan royalty 🙄); 3) undermine/break major continuity in terms of story from those first 6 movies; and 4) hide behind pandering, unearned fan service/lazy nostalgia-baiting. George Lucas no doubt continues to bang his head against a wall. 😑
