The last 4 episodes we still have to watch will show us Aang's fate against the Fire Nation, but these are all about making the last amends and getting ready for the battle.

2021-10-31 06:22:07 +0000 UTCZuko telling Sokka "That's rough buddy" after his Moon story is a bit of a meme in the fandom :) As Texas says above, same is true with a lot of the Ember Island Players stuff. My particular favourite is when they say that Jet dying was "unclear". That's because Nickoledeon was pretty strict on keeping things "for kids", the writers had to make his death pretty vague in the show. So this is the writers poking fun at the network a little bit. I think the concept of the Revenge episode isn't so much about making the Southern Raider chief learn a lesson. It's about making us realise that the really important lessons are ones we learn, not ones we try and teach others. Whether you believe in karma or not, I think the reason we're told not to stand in judgement over others is that it doesn't actually make us better people, it just makes us think we're better. And that's a dark road to go down. And lastly - the reason I think Toph likes her part in the play is that she's not really insecure about herself in any way. The others all have major regrets and hangups, but Toph isn't like that. People seem to think to be tough you have to build a wall around yourself, but Toph doesn't need a wall to hide behind, she has turned her weakness into strengths (to paraphrase Tyrion, back when he seemed a bit smarter :D).
