Oh my, that sounds scary! No, mine didnt make a sound, I believe. I use "exploded" more in the sense of.. It was all over everything. In every corner of my bag, on and IN everything I had in the bag (including the book) and just... everywhere lol.

I ask because years ago when I was at school, I had a big bag of crisps in my school bag which exploded when I leaned against the wall. The POP made me jump out of my skin!
