I absolutely love how nicely they set up Toph's introduction. First Bumi tells Aang to look for an Earth Bending teacher who waits and listens. Then Aang sees a vision of a girl in the swamp. Toph, a blind girl, appears... Aang recognizes her as the girl from his vision in the swamp... and the penny drops. The Bending teacher that Bumi talked about... and the girl in the swamp are the same person... and here she is! So satisfying.

2021-08-06 15:12:06 +0000 UTCAnd you finally reached this episode. Definitely a fan favorite both because Toph is amazing but also the wrestling parody is delightful. At least for me. If you know who he is, Mick Foley voices the Boulder while imitating Randy Savage. It's so good.
