The heightened color contrast, especially of blue and red, is eery as hell and makes everything that much more tense, and also makes the spirit garden feel genuinely serene because the color palate is more diverse. Zuko wearing white causes him to appear blue as well, which is good for blending in but also makes it feel like he's swallowed up in enemy territory. It doesn't have the same vibe as wearing black sneaking around in a dark place, this feels more harsh and exposed. That combined with the physical toll we see Zuko go through really puts you in his headspace. But also makes him kind of terrifying, knowing what he put himself through to get to Aang.

2021-06-19 06:39:31 +0000 UTCcongrats on reaching season two! most feel season three is the best, but some feel season two is. it’s like Buffy in that no one picks season one as the best, though it’s fun. Also, I hope you will consider watching My Hero Academia. (sort of Harry Potter but super heroes instead of magic). i’m pretty sure you will fall in love with it from episode one! Lastly, check out A Very Potter Musical, the first of three collegiate made full length Harry Potter parody musicals. (Darren Criss from Glee is Harry Potter.). The producers have released them to youtube and don’t attack other content creators, so you can do a full reaction without having to edit at all, a huge time savings plus! And like the Buffy musical they are full of not only humor, but heart. (Star kid has gone on to make a dozen or more musicals since, all free to react to, such as Twisted, Disney’s Aladdin from hero Jafar’s point of view.
