Buffy 7x14 Update

Hey all, Buffy 7x14 is ready to go but Dropbox still isn't letting me share any links. Apparently every time the traffic limit is exceeded the ban gets longer, so as this is the second time this has happened the ban is longer than 24 hours (but they don't specify how long, helpful).

Also, increasing my storage level which I did last time this happened doesn't actually help, and there's nothing you can do to increase your traffic and bandwidth limit so that's a bit of a dilemma because all this means is inevitable bans that get longer and longer. Thankfully this has only happened twice now so not too often but long-term I may have to do something about it.

Will keep trying throughout the day and will get Buffy to you as soon as it lets me.

Comments

I have to agree with some other comments here vimeo or onehub might be a better option then Dropbox

MICHELLE BOOSINGER

Hey! sorry this is happening, have you ever considered Vimeo?

Michelle

can you use onehub?

Dropbox: the true identification of the first evil. Stop banning Liam's videos you scandalous knave!

Steve Quast

Hi Liam. I have no advice. Just a hug. Hang in there :)

KiwiJello

I've sent you a DM on Twitter to perhaps help.

After Show Reactions

Other reactors have opened multiple accounts to help with this issue. Not sure if that is something you want to do but just thought I'd put it out there.

Hi Liam, sorry you're having issues! Have you tried using a different service for now during your 'bans'. For example google drive or the box or even vimeo? One of the reactors I watched a while back used 3 different services to trial them out to see what works best. One thing that might help you is to reduce your file size. You can do that without too much drop in quality. If you aim for around 1GB per 42 minute episode that might help with the excess traffic and keep the video quality.

Sharon Owen

Have you considered reducing the resolution on the videos a bit to save on bandwidth? 1080p to 720p reduces the file size significantly
