I've been working in retail 5 years now full time. I used to HATE this episode when I was younger, but I get it now. I get it so much it actually hurts.

Almost like people have to front that the episode is so bad, because everyone else thinks the same thing, apparently. DP has a kind of experimental quality that gives it a unique tone and atmosphere. The use of lighting, framing, the sound design - it's all very intentional. On top of that, it's funny ("What about the cherry pie?" has to be one of the best ad-breaks in the show). Also, as someone who's worked menial shift labour, it rings true emotionally.

I guess I'm the only one, but find both episodes absolutely hysterical and thoroughly enjoy them. "It's the meat pro-cess", "Just the pro-cess for the meat" LOL. One of my favorite season 6 episodes.
