Well, if you were to put yourself in Cordy's shoes, I totally get why they want to be able to help out. Yes, it's Angel's son but probably the idea that Angel's son is also HUMAN and it's a human child he's taking care of, Cordy's "motherly instinct" makes her feel the need to be useful in that regard and you're right, it's like the fact that Angel's not even human but a vampire and a man lol she feels like she's more capable of caring for a child. I don't blame them for feeling like they need to chip in and Angel's not allowing them 'cause they think he's got other responsibilities too besides just taking care of the baby. They probably feel they need to have some responsibility as well. They're humans and I think sometimes Angel doesn't realise. Besides, Angel was being irrational anyway about trying to take Connor out in the daylight even if he will burn to death in the end. 🙄 Single parents exist but they have to take advantage of the resources available for them which Angel pretty much has with his team. Hello? Cordy and Fred and even Lorne's willing to babysit (yes and Gunn and Wes too but I feel they've got more expertise in the other department)

I like this episode, but all the stuff before the misdirect plan could have been hatched makes me kind of uncomfortable. I totally get Angel's defensiveness because boy, everyone was so pushy, especially Cordelia. Talking about how he doesn't have a mother's touch, like ???? And although I agree with her to an extent about vampirism and parenthood not really meshing, single parents exist and it felt more like her wanting to be included than her wanting what's best for Angel and Connor. It is in her character to have some pretty gendered notions of parenthood, we saw it with her and Darla, but I did not enjoy that.
Actually I guess it was mostly Cordelia, other people were pushy but just like one time. Fred and Wesley weren't at all!

Yeah weirdly one of the most famous actors we get in Angel.

That’s surprising to me, as Angel is so adorable to me, and the part about the janitor’s closet was clever. But episodes we like or hate is very individual. I can’t stand the Zeppo, not for Xander’s story, but all the apocalypse bull crap. I always appreciate them trying something different but the meta stuff just didn’t work for me.

For me, this is one if the worst episodes of the entire Buffyverse, it nearly has no redeeming qualities about it.

Funny side bit. Although you may not recognize her because you're in the UK, the "I'm Files and Records, it's my job" woman is the same actress that plays Flo in all of those Progressive Insurance commercials.

Yeah, I've always kinda liked it myself, it's not a common name here in the States or so that I've seen I actually had never heard it until in this show. I think it's better than William, it's interesting to note Liam is a version of William and Spike's name is William and Angel's is Liam so basically it's like they have the same first name although they both use aliases/nicknames they gave themselves attributed from how they killed people Angel from when he said his kid sister he killed thought he'd come back from the grave to her in the form of an angel when she let him in to kill his family and Spike of course from killing the people making fun of his poetry in public about rather having railroad spikes driven through their heads.
