Here I am , Brit, living in London - yet watching your vid, curious what you have to say,. Lol I've been to the Jurassic Coast several times - it's absolutely gorgeous. I've stayed in a caravan site right above Durdle Door - the famous rocky arch that juts into the sea that we see in the vid. I've also been in a wee speedboat that goes around Durdle Door arch - that was fantastic. A boat trip for tourists thing. It goes from Lulworth Cove - a beautiful village that winds down to the cove, with fantastic rock formations in the cliffs. Have stayed there a couple of times ( while going to the nearby Camp Bestival, since my sister cannot camp). There is a visitors centre that is actually a little museum with a bunch of fossils and the history of discovering dinosaur remains and about the rock formations. You can buy fossils there! That's the most stunning part I've been to, but when I was younger I had several holidays on the Devon part of the Jurassic Coast - Branscombe and Beer are gorgeous. Also, for anyone who wants dramatic coastlines - Cornwall is stunning. I stayed in a tiny secluded cove about 20 years ago ( Penberth Cove I think), and walked the cliffs to the Minack Theatre. The Minack Theatre is incredible - it is carved into the cliff edge, like an ampitheatre, with the stage area right on the cliff edge, with stone arches, so that the audience watching has the sea as a backdrop. I too highly recommend St Ives on the North Cornwall coast, it is gorgeous. It is the home of Barbara Hepworth a famous sculptor who created stunning works in the 1930s: "In 1931, two years after the birth of her first child, Hepworth started to pierce her carvings thus introducing the 'hole' to British sculpture. Her first such work is the celebrated sculpture Pierced Form, which was created the next year." Her works are mostly out of stone and wood, later metal. Mostly very curvy and organic shapes. many very large scale outdoor sculptures. There is a Barbara Hepworth Museum in St Ives, where I did a sculpting in stone course about 15 years ago in her old studios, and a sculpture garden in her old house. You can see both here: https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/art-1010/art-post-war-britain/v/barbara-hepworth OKAY - yup I love Barbara Hepworth, LOL. Also the Tate St Ives gallery, that is part of the Tate group of galleries ( Tate Britain & Tate Modern). And it is a lovely village with many little art shops, galleries, cafes & restaurants. A lot of artists moved there because of the great light. Lovely coastline too. I stayed in a B&B where the waves crashed against the rocks of my room's groundfloor balcony. Hmmm, right - no one but Liam is gonna see this no on Patreon right?

The images in the vid you are watching are beautiful, but the computer voice over is rubbish, :D It talks at one point of the Georgian architecture in Bath, while showing the Gothic architecture!!

Well done you for climbing Mount Snowden, I never did it, and now I can't cos of a busted knee. I have visited the Lake District, but only briefly, I'd love to go again.

OMG I just finished writing my book on London History today 🤣 I recommend Joolz Guides on you tube, he's funny but knows his stuff!

This was really fun. I love to travel but I have never left Australia. I mean I have flown over 3000 kms but that was still in Australia and not even the furthest distances apart. I have always wanted to visit the UK, especially after looking into my ancestry over the last few years. I loved your insights and I hope to visit England one day.

Thanks Liam! You were much more interesting than the video. Like you, I don't have the money to travel right now. I went to England in 1998, but would love to go back.
